On his death bed, a man in his 90's looks at all his children and grandchildren and keeps zoning out. All his life flashes in front of his life. His first time to go to a movie with his parents. His first ice cream that he ate. The time when he got lost from his parents in the park. His childhood crush and his first kiss. Him meeting his wife for the first time, their marriage. The death of his parents. The death of his sweetheart. All the good and bad memories that he had in his life and all the regrets he had all came to him. Though there were regrets for not being a better husband or for not being more successful in life. At last he just felt that his life was fulfilling and that he was grateful for all his mistakes he made in his life. As those mistakes have gotten him this big family and all the good memories along with it.
As a small girl of 8 years age was crying by hooding his hand, he mustered all his energy to tell show her a smile and just like that his life ended. Everyone in the room cried for him. As the man lost his life, the crying sounds from the people began to fade away and all that he can see was darkness and all that he can feel was a sense of being merged with the void.
It felt like a moment and also like a lifetime. That is when he saw a light slowly emerging from afar in the darkness and slowly enveloping him. When the blinding light receded, he was in a room that looked like a court with a big scale in the middle of the room. And he can hear a warm voice saying "It was not that bad of a life now was it? ".
