Kevin's eyes followed Alice's every move. He caught a glimpse of her eyes. Her eyes used to shine full of light. He remembered how they used to sparkle when she twirled around and laughed. Her laughter. Oh, how he missed that sound. He remembers her torn expression when they had to part ways. Her body shook against his as she hugged him and softly cried, saying their last goodbyes. He never saw her again, until today. He kept the promise he made her, but he had a feeling things were not going to be as simple as he thought.
"You grew up, Alice. Your not the innocent girl you once were." Kevin whispered to himself
He smirked as he watched how she handled Wes.
"Sir, shouldn't we follow her?" Nico, Kevin's right-hand man asked
"No,"
"NO? We are just going to let her leave?"
"Yes, It's not time yet."
"O- kay,"
"I would love to stay and watch the show, but I have things to do." Kevin patted Nico on the back. "Come on, let's go!"
"Why are we leaving now? We are missing the best part!" Nico complained as they exited the building
Kevin stopped and glared at Nico.
"Stay if you want but I am going."
Kevin continued walking out.
"What a pity we did not see any action."
Kevin ignored Nico and walked to the car. As he climbed in, he heard the gunshots going off inside.
"SEE! We could have waited five minutes."
Alice climbed into the car. Oliver looked at Alice in the rearview mirror.
"Go to Alicia's, house," Alicia Labrato was the mistress of Wes.
Oliver nodded. They pulled into the Labrato family's driveway. Oliver got out and opened the door for Alice. Alice walked up the steps towards the house. Khan stepped in front of Alice and knocked once on the door. A guy opened the door and stood to the side so Alice could pass. She walked toward the living room and past the Labrato's family who was kneeling on the floor. Alice took her seat in front of them and crossed her legs.
Erik Labrato the head of the house jerked his head up.
"You!! How dare you come to my house! You even dared to kill my men. What is the meaning of this!?"
"Erik, nice to see you again."
"You better let my family go!"
"Or, what Erik?"
Erik tried to free himself out of the man's grip who was holding him down. The man hit him against the head causing his jaw to hit the floor and splitting open his bottom lip. Erik spat blood out in front of Alice,
"What do you want? We never crossed your family!"
Alice lifted her eyebrow.
"Unfortunately for you, your family did. It would be unfair of my family to be biased against yours. Don't you think? Erik? Why aren't you aware of what is going on in your family? "
"What are you talking about? Of course, I know."
"I don't think so. You aren't even aware of what is going on underneath your nose." Alice looked to Alicia who was bowing her head not daring to look Alice in the eyes.
Erik's eyes widen when he heard Alice's words. He saw her staring at Alicia. He looked back at her and pointed at Alicia.
"Alicia! It can't be! No!"
"Are you accusing me of framing your daughter, Erik? You think I have extra time on my hands for that?"
"What did she do? Tell me and I will kill her myself!"
Alice did not answer and watched Erik crawl to Alicia and hit her across the face. Alicia fell to the side and held onto her cheek still not daring to look anyone in the eyes.
"You bitch. What have you done?"
Alice motions to Khan with her hand.
Khan crouched down and held a pistol out to Erik to take.
"Show me you can keep your word and shoot her in front of me! You can't be trusted to handle such a trivial matter." Alice said as she leaned forward,
Erik glanced first at the gun and then at his daughter.
"Erik no… please! Don't you dare kill our daughter!"
"SHUT UP, SHUT UP! Don't you see what she has done? She doomed our whole family!"
"Please, Erik. Please don't," Erik's wife pleaded from the side.
He took the gun with shaking hands from Khan'. He turned toward his daughter. Erik had killed many men and women in his life. Never did he thought he would be at someone's mercy one day. Alice's men had Alicia standing on her knees right in a position for him to shoot. With shaking hands, he pointed the gun toward Alicia. Alicia had her eyes tightly closed. A tear ran down Erik's cheek. She had always been his princess. Did he not raise her right. Where could he have gone wrong? Every time he wanted to pull the trigger he hesitated
Khan looked to Alice.
"You know what we also discovered?" Alice asked.
Erik lowered the gun and looked at Alice.
"You have been doing human trafficking and selling products in our district, Erik."
"No, No. I can explain!"
"Explain? Khan, do you hear this." Alice said with a laugh as she looked at Khan.
Khan only shook his head at Erik.
"What is there to explain? Can you see why I can't let your family go? You knew the consequences of your actions Erik. Now it is time for you to pay up. It is a shame for your wife and son though. You and your daughter will be the cause of their deaths as well."
Alice motioned to Khan. A popping sound echoed throughout the room. Erik's eyes widen as he jerks his head to Alicia.
"ALICIA NO! MIA FIGLIA,"
"I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU ALL."
Erik glared back into Khan's eyes. Khan smirked and shrugged his shoulders.
Alice stood up, "I'll leave the rest for you to clean up," she said then walked out.
As Alice walked down the stairs, she heard the gunshots going off. Bang, Bang, Bang then silence.
Oliver opened the door, and she climbed in.
"You are free to make whatever choice you want in life. Choices lead to actions, and actions are never without consequences."
