Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

In the beginning, all was naught but Formlessness and Chaos. The Elements raged in constant adversity to one another until out of nowhere, he appeared, the Legendary Dragon Ryuujinn. It is said that when Ryuujinn first witnessed the Chaos in the Universe, he shed Great Tears. His Tears spread all over the Universe and bound the Elements giving them Form. Thus was the Birth Of The Dragons, Celestial Beings that radiated and represented the Elements.

Ryuujinn separated the Elements into Two Major Categories, the Lightside Elements which he called the Elements Of Generation and the Darkside Elements which he called the Elements Of Destruction. Their Natural Order was to maintain the Universe's Balance through the Union Of Opposites. This was the Source Of Life which Ryuujinn named 'The Dragon Zone'.

Ryuujinn also instituted Three Laws governing the interaction of Dragons with Humans. The First Law was 'Dragons must Love their Creation and price them above all else'. The Second Law was 'No Dragon was allowed to directly intervene in a Human's Fate'. The Third Law was 'No Dragon could reveal Truths that could alter a Human's Destiny'.

Finally, Ryuujinn created Mankind. Mankind's youthful years were peaceful upon the Earth but as Time passed, they began to desecrate the Elements. They waged War against one another repeatedly. All was due to an inordinate desire on Mankind's part to improve themselves at the expense of Nature. This evil omen signaled an imbalance amongst the Elements. This imbalance was caused by a Dragon, the Leader Of The Dark Dragons who wielded the Elements Of Destruction. His name was Tristran. Tristran desired to rule over the Universe in Ryuujinn's place and thus instigated a Rebellion in the Heavens and this is where the Tale begins. It begins with an Omen of a possible end to all things.
