Chapter 1 - I Fucked Up

"Kevin, please go out with me!"

Kevin, juggling his phone and a sandwich, barely looked up at the girl beside him. "No, I won't."

The girl, feigning shock, placed her hand on her chest dramatically and asked, "Why, Kevin, why?

Kevin, with a mouthful of sandwich, mumbled, "I'm not interested. You're not my type."

His tone remained indifferent as he continued tapping on his phone.

Fighting back tears, the girl inquired, "Then... what is your type?"

Kevin let out an audible sigh and glanced at her briefly, his face showing minimal interest, "At least, it's not you."

"You're so mean." Frustration bubbled up in the girl as she protested, "Can't you see my love for you?"

Still engrossed in his phone, Kevin shook his head with a dismissive expression, "Nope, I can't. I'm blind to that," showing a complete lack of empathy for her emotions as he walked away.

The awkward scene on the college campus continued to draw the attention of onlookers who began to gather, forming a small, curious crowd around the girl and Kevin. The hushed whispers and occasional chuckles could be heard, creating a mixture of sympathy, amusement, and shock.

As the girl stood there, a few passing students couldn't resist commenting on the awkward situation:

"Did you see that? Ouch, brutal rejection!"

"He didn't even look up from his phone! Cold, man."

"I've heard of tough love, but that's just harsh."

"She's just standing there, like a deer in headlights."

"I can't believe she asked 'Ruthless Lady Killer' out like that!"

"Poor girl, she looks so stunned!"

"I hope she'll recover from this one. That was tough to watch."

The girl, still in shock and surrounded by the campus commotion, felt the weight of the rejection and the onlookers' comments pressing down on her like an unwelcome spotlight.

►[Level Clear]

"Sigh…" After finishing the game, I put my phone in my pocket.

Even though I was confessed a moment ago, it wasn't a big deal for me. It might sound harsh.

'But you would have the same reaction if you also get dozens of confessions every week.'

I wasn't this harsh at rejecting in the past, but it's getting overboard now. For example, the girl, who confessed now, just met him yesterday.

'There is no way I'm going to get into a relationship when the other party isn't even serious.'

At that moment, I didn't know I would regret this.

F**k!!

I SHOULD HAVE ACCEPTED THAT CONFESSION!!

In my 20 years of life, I never felt this much regretful. Because there weren't any reasons to have regret.

However, when you see your death before you, it's normal to have some regrets.

At the moment, My death - The Goddess of Love (Venus) - was standing before me.

The reason was to punish me for my crime.

And my crime?

I just left a small, and sweet review on the game developed by the Goddess of Love.

►[Overrated Game - ★☆☆☆☆

I recently played this game, and I was quite disappointed.

The game was not as good as I expected it to be. It felt more like a time-passing game that you can play in your free time when you don't have anything else to play.

Firstly, I found the routes and endings to be quite predictable, which made the story feel cliché.

The game did not require any special skills to play and even novice players with a general understanding could easily clear the game.

Regarding the characters, although their appearance was impressive and realistic, they were ultimately just a bunch of 2D characters.

Thus, their illustrations were not really worth caring about.

The main character was simply dumb and dense. Even a gorilla or chimpanzee would have had more intelligence than him.

You are forced to choose ridiculous choices because of that.

Wherever he passes through the troubles keep following him.

The female characters all fell in love with him for no apparent reason other than him saving them, which made the romance and love story seem ridiculous.

There were many unnecessary and explicit sex scenes that turned me off as a player.

Furthermore, the game tested my patience.

The main character often failed to take proper care of the female characters after capturing them, which seemed illogical.

The storyline lacked character development, and the villains were just a bunch of perverts who came free with the heroines.

The plot was full of loopholes, and plot holes that were frustrating to experience.

Overall, I would not recommend this game to anyone who wants to have a quality gaming experience.

It was a waste of time and lacked any real substance.]

►[Few Moments ago]

"Who are you?" I, Kevin kindly asked, squinting as I couldn't see the person's face. It felt as though the figure was shrouded by a mysterious fog, obscuring their features. Neither I could see their body nor their face.

"I am the Goddess of Love," came the response. From the voice.

I could guess from the voice that the speaker was female, but the content I heard sounded more like a joke.

Unable to contain my amusement at the preposterous claim, I shook my head in disbelief, saying, "Haha, that's a good one! If you're the Goddess of Love, then I must be the God of Wisdom!" I chuckled heartily, my laughter echoing through the surroundings.

However, there wasn't any response from others for a few moments.

At that moment, I couldn't help but think about that claim again.

Quietly, I pondered, 'Are you really the Goddess of Love?'

"Yes, I am truly the Goddess of Love, and I can read your mind," a casual response came.

"Now it's confirmed. So, you're really a Goddess, huh? This is my first encounter with any deity. Gods surely have their own charm. Now, please tell me why I'm here?" I tried to be as composed as I could and asked.

While meeting a Goddess was surprising, but not more than getting kidnapped by Goddess, while sleeping.

"Don't worry, you're not dead. I summoned you because you did something interesting," the Goddess nonchalantly explained.

"Now I'm relieved I'm not dead. But what did I do?" Even though I was relieved to hear that, I was still curious about the current situation.

"You wrote that long negative review on the game, right?" The Goddess asked for confirmation. It looked like she already knew the answer. However, she was still asking for it.

"Yes. So what?"

"Did you know the developer's name?"

The goddess asked in a cold tone. She didn't sound like an amiable person as I thought.

"Yeah, it was kinda like Venus," Kevin mused, a thoughtful look crossing his face. Then, as the realization dawned on him, his eyes widened in surprise. He raised a hand to his chin, his index finger lightly tapping it, and exclaimed, "Wait, don't tell me…"

"Yeah. It's just one of my names. I am the developer of the game you played," Venus stated, her voice cold and detached, her eyes fixed on me.

As she continued, her tone became more pronounced, revealing her underlying anger, although her expression remained composed. "I was so bored here, I made that game. You know, most of the users just wrote boring reviews. But you did something interesting."

Is she angry? She sounds angry. I was sweating in buckets.

"Emm… sorry…" My voice quivered, and I struggled to get the words out, fully aware of the tension in the air. Still, I apologized. I didn't know what kind of consequences I would face, but I might avoid danger if she forgave me.

Venus, her mischievous smile now replaced by a menacing glint in her eye, replied, "Yeah, but it's okay. You don't have to apologize. Now you have some problems with my game. Why don't you play the game one more time? But this time, the game will be more realistic."

I felt a chill run down in my spine, as I sensed her anger growing. The smile that played on Venus's lips was now menacing, and I, who was trapped in a situation beyond my control, whispered, "No… That can't be… Please wait…" My voice was trembling with fear.

For me, she wasn't a goddess anymore. A devil incarnate. Or even worse than that.

"Goodbye, and all the best for clearing the game." Venus waved her hands enthusiastically.

And I just fainted on the spot.

But before fainting, my last thought was,

'Yeah, I FUCKED UP.'
