Chapter 21 - Part 4 (3)

Six months had passed since the young maid Tinah vanished away from the manor house to a destination no one was aware of.

The landlord Mr. Paddy had tried to snatch information about the disappeared servant Tinah from her colleagues but everyone had the same answer for the Master of the domain.

"Sorry sir, we have no idea where blue eyes went to." They all told the baron, Mr. Paddy, calling the young maid Tinah by her nickname.

However, if the servants indeed knew nothing behind the sudden flight of blue eyes, the head housemaid Cathy knew so much about it and would often look from a distance at her Master Mr. Paddy investigating his particular maid's departure before the other servants.

As for Mrs. Pola, she had long forgotten about blue eyes and had even replaced the runaway employee with a younger maid who she found even more beautiful than blue eyes.

She never spoke again about Tinah who was tied with the manor house by a contract that the latter was free to rescind. So for Mrs. Pola, blue eyes was simply exercising her right, though there was a proper way to do it.

The landlord Mr. Paddy was so desperate to see the young Tinah again, for he had a plan for her.

Indeed, when they started their love affair, Mr. Paddy began to think that his little princess Tinah could be a perfect surrogate mother for an heir. But contrary to normal practice, he was doing insemination himself and using his phallus.

And as a reward, the baron planned to purchase an apartment in Mankayane downtown for the young Tinah and bear all costs incurred.

But there was no more Tinah and the landlord was getting older and the chance that he died without a successor was increasing steadily as the days were passing by.

Ultimately, Paddy commenced sleeping alone in a guest room at the end of the corridor leading to the Master's private apartments.

His affection toward his wife Pola became less and he would sometimes spend a day without seeing her or talking with her whereas they were both present at the manor house.

Nonetheless, though the idea of a divorce from his spouse had come across his mind, the baron Paddy had never taken it seriously.

All that mattered to him was fatherhood. He had tasted this pleasure once and was determined to experience it again at all costs.

So the Master of the domain took a big decision and that was that he was going to look for blue eyes Tinah, however he was going to do so without his wife Pola knowing.

He pretended there was an emergency in Great Britain and he had to be out of Swaziland for a week.

The landlord left the manor house under the charge of the Mistress Pola and took an itinerary other than the one that led to the airport.

He went south to Mahamba, seventy kilometers away from Mankayane to seek his little princess with blue eyes, the young Tinah in her native village.
