Technology

Spell vessel: Item that contains the ability to imitate simple spellcasting. Usually a weaker version of spells cast by mages of a specialty, and also restricted to lower ranks. Most of those who are portable feed off the user's life essence, but there are those sustained by their own magical engines. Ones of bigger scale are usually referred to by different terms.

Spell conduit: Item that facilitates one form of casting. Usually help in giving shape to spells, and allowing the caster to conjure their magic through the item. Can be used to teach apprentice level mages to control magic before they have the ability to conjure it by themselves. Usually a conduit can only be used for a specific area within one of the Greater Areas. Can be used to amplify the magic's potency, reduce the time required for preparation or reduce concentration used, among other things.

Text transmitter/ recorder: Spell vessel that can transmit text to others of its kind while within cities, as well as register any information the user inputs into it. Vessels can interpret imputed information based on typing, writing on its screen or by analyzing the text in a sheet of paper, depending on their size or specifications. Functionality of registering text and methods of reading it both vary, but in the smallest variety, it is commonly read through the conjuration of sheets of paper containing the information contained within it.

Extension focus: Spell conduits that act as the center of extensions for a mage. Typically make it easier for a mage to sustain the form for longer periods, reduce concentration usage as well as disguising it. Most of the time, ones carried in the body of the caster are used as a permanent base for sensorial extensions, to better focus the activation of the sorcerer's Higher Senses, though some mages use them as a method of increasing the amount of points from which they can conjure projectiles around them as well.

Divine Artifacts/ Divine Tools: Magical items (usually either enchanted items, spell vessels, conduits, engines or greater structures, like advanced golems) created by the Greater Ones, that are currently considered incomprehensible and irreplicable through the lens of modern technology. Not necessarily because it is impossible to imagine under what sort of spell they act, but in most cases simply because the size of the item, or other properties of it do not match the estimated equivalent space that would be needed to set up the structure. That, or the functions of the item are considered too difficult to be replicated by the hands of mortals in modern days, due to the application of high level magic into the structure. Some of the Divine Gifts, like the Azure Lines and the Earth Towers, are considered by many as the first case of application of artifacts into the social world.

Social Context

The First Disciples: Refers to the original apprentices of the Greater Aspects. Many are heroes of renown within their own kinds and globally, and they were the ones responsible for sharing the magical knowledge their masters taught them to the peoples from which they hailed.

Pact Warden: One of the names utilized to refer to mages working in the combat forces of the mage's association, the agents of the Pact of Union. Other similar names include: The Verdant Vigil and Pact Emissaries (by mainly magical beasts). They primarily work as guardians and speakers of social kin within areas of the Wild in which the social folk can reach, as well as one of the main messengers between the Social World and the deeper regions of the Wild World. The function of managing these representatives falls within the duties of the International Mage's Association due to the fact they are neither bound to a specific state nor directly managed by the Sisterhood, and therefore can claim neutrality before national matters and a stance centered on the social kinds of Aeyxos, unlike the Sisterhood.

Knight Titles: Separate into two orders, the Light Scale and Earth Title, and are generally only gifted to knights that are already Champions.

Light Scale: In the case of the Light Scale, it is separate into two terms. The first, portraying the light source of the knight, grows in scale at the following order: Star, Moon and Sun, seeking to represent how large each of these figures appears to be on our skies. Star titles can be granted by anyone working within governmental positions within the nation of origin for the knight. Moon titles can only be granted by high nobility, officers in high administrative positions or high ranking members in one of the Knight Orders, and finally, Sun titles can only be granted by royalty, people of comparable positions of other regions, or the High Commander of the order in which they operate. Sun or Moon knights are occasionally tied to the service of the person who granted them this title, yet the same does not necessarily apply to the Star Knights. Additionally, the second word of the Light Scale varies between "Seeker" or "Vanguard" based on whether the knight champion is being acknowledged for their potential and early career or by their prolonged service and successes.

Earth Title: Usually refer to the title created by the person naming a knight to them. Typically refer to aspects of what characterizes the service of the knight in question, ranging from personality traits their colleagues find noteworthy, the style of fighting they practice or the type of magic they are known for wielding. Though the former is symbolic of the merits of a Champion, most of the times a knight is called by their title the Earth Title is the one used.
