"UGH, THIS IS SO BORING." I groaned.
"I know, just endure this for a few more hours and we can leave." Benjamin replied.
"Ugh, fine. Working at Disneyland wasn't as fun as I thought." I said, defeated.
"Yeah, we're just security, luckily. I don't think I could endure watching other people going into the rides, but having to stand there outside." Benjamin said.
"Yeah-" I started.
"Come here." a mysterious voice said.
"Wait, what was that?" they said in unison.
"Come here." the voice said again.
"Wait! I think it came from the storage room!" Benjamin exclaimed.
We tip-toed towards the storage room, and opened the door. Creak! The door opened and on the other side was a blue circular mass, swirling and glowing.
"Woah! There's like-" I started.
"A portal, I know!" Benjamin said, excited.
"Should we go through?" I asked.
"Well, we can come back any time we want right?" Benjamin asked.
"Yeah, let's go in." I said.
We strode towards the portal and stepped through it. All I saw was blue everywhere, and that Benjamin was floating away from me.
"Benjamin!" I shouted "Come back!"
"I can't, I don't know how to move here!" Benjamin replied, slowly getting smaller into the distance. Then, I blacked out.

When I woke up, I was in an unfamiliar place. There were trees all around me, and it looked like I was in a forest. I stood up, and a wave of nausea swept over me. I looked around to find Benjamin, but he wasn't here.
"Benjamin!" I cried "Benjamin, are you here?"
"Well, I don't know who Benjamin is, but who are you and why are you here?" a voice said behind me.
I turned around and saw a man. He was heavily built, and was wearing some type of uniform. He was holding an axe and looked like he wasn't afraid of using it.
"I'm Kaeil, but who are you?" I questioned.
"I'm Calor, and you're standing on private property." he replied.
"Oh, sorry, I just went through a portal and appeared here. I don't know where I am." I said.
"Well, it seems like you're telling the truth, well, I guess I have to take you in, if you don't have a home. Follow me." He said.
I followed him through the forest, which was actually in the backyard of Calor's house. He was growing it to have firewood for his home. I went through the door and sat down on the sofa.
"You look tired, make yourself at home." Calor said.
