Without waiting for a reply from Kevin, Pitt disappeared like a ghost after handing the bag to Kevin. I stood on shaky legs and walked over to Kevin. A real man should face his fears even at the edge of death.
"Oh Kevin, I didn't know you liked this place too?" I playfully said trying to act cool even when deep down I was trembling. Kevin looked at me like he was seeing my ghost and lost his footing, tripping and falling on his butt.
His face showed it all "Hunting me even before you meet your death?"
"What's happening to you? You seem scared?" I asked playing dumb
"I--I need to go," Kevin panicked rising on his feet
He swiftly rushed hugging the bag he received from Pitt earlier closer to his heart. I stared at him my mouth curved into a smirk and dialed Lucas' number.
