The next morning I woke up early than usual determined to dress in the most killer outfit, especially these freaking designer clothes that youth the extensively.
I wore one cloth after the other but none of them was to my liking even though I was the one who bought them. I angrily sat on the couch when an I sea popped up into my head.
"Packing my bags and moving into the house I bought years back."
Just when I was about to stand up, Natasha's words resounded in my head "For the years that I have known you, you are one of the most half-witted vermin I have ever seen in this universe but I wonder why can't girls see that? Why can't they stop being head over heels for you? Why can't we just hate you instead of loving you?"
"Am I that ominous in the eyes of others? Come on mummy's boys that's all bullshit and negativity from people. Your main purpose here is to make Claudia fall in love with you."
I packed everything I owned from the comb even if it contained two teeth to the torn underwear I had hidden under my mattress. Ah no, Lucas' mattress because I didn't buy it and I was only inserting my weight on it.
I walked back and forth in the room but ended up standing at the spot that I loved the most and that was the window. I fucking loved darting outside through the window but it was time to move out and live my life like a normal juvenile even when I was old enough to be called grand-grand-grandfather.
I grabbed my suitcase and opened the door to find Ajuk standing with the most unappetizing look someone wouldn't wanna see in the morning.
"What the fuck Ajuk! You scared the hell out of me. What are you doing in front of my room this early morning?" I said to her almost losing my equilibrium because Ajuk was the last person I expected to beg me to stay.
"Leave whatever you are doing for now and follow me," Ajuk commanded me in a rather cold but trembling voice pulling my hand.
"You guys are interesting people because I am leaving Lucas has sent you to play tricks on me. What an early morning comedy show!"
I replied leaning on the casing with my hands crossed along my chest.
"Cut the crap and just follow me if you wanna catch a glimpse of Oliver Cater." She declared almost yelling.
"What does that so-called Oliver Cater have to do with me? Whether I see her or not has nothing to do with me. So if you are done with your comedy, excuse me I have something important awaiting me."
I excused myself and pulled out my suitcase when Ajuk shouted from behind me "Are you sure you gatta nothing to do with Cater Oliver your teammate who was hurt during your mission in Middle Earth?"
"Team" My mind ran straight to him because he was my only team member who was hurt from that Mission and sometimes I thought he had already died since Lucas doesn't share the member's personal information no matter how close you are him.
"You mean Team is alive and kicking?" I questioned a bit surprised but deep down I knew something was wrong or Ajuk won't be telling me.
"Come on, follow me,"
I trailed behind Ajuk like a lost puppy looking for its mother. My heart was palpitating faster than a speeding vehicle on a highway.

I examined 'Team' lying unconscious on the medical bed. One of his legs was cut off and both his hands were tied with splints. It was almost three months since the mission was completed, and a lot of things happened to me but I had no idea Oliver was suffering like that and Lucas didn't even say a word about it.
"Has he been unconscious for all those three months?" I asked facing Ajuk
"He wakes up sometimes but it seems that he doesn't remember what happened to him. So he will make a fuss about it and the only solution is to put him back to sleep."
"You would have taken him to the hospital than keep him here in the basement. Will he recover from your darn remedy, you know very well what he needs than anyone else."
"Stop blaming me like I am the one making decisions here, you've been with Lucas for years, and you understand how borne head he is?"
"You would have at least told me in the first place. It's freaking three months Ajuk. You've been taking care of him but not as well as he's supposed to be attended to."
I slammed my fist hard on the table beside Team's bed breaking it into parts. "It's my fault, I wouldn't have gone to Xena's territory that day. I would have sneaked into this fucking room that very day. 'Team' would have recovered by now."
I thought inwardly clenching my fists and walking toward the exit determined to kill that mother fucker, Lucas
"GK! What do you think you are doing? At least I thought you would do something better this time other than fighting with him. What's the difference there? And Lucas is out of town that's why I wanted to use this opportunity. It would have been better if I did it on my own."
Ajuk yelled behind me and she was right. There was no difference between me and Lucas because we are all monsters who exterminate everything as long as it comes our way just like the team I am leading "Exterminators".
In the past, Exterminators wasn't like it is now. Some people take us as heroes who save the world from monsters and evil people but in fact, we are naturally wicked and disguise ourselves as heroes.
An exterminator is a group of people formed under the NIS (National Intelligence Security) of Riverland and its main purpose is to get rid of the people who are against the government. No matter whether bad or good people are killed and Lucas is the current leader.
