"They're gone!!" Mr 9 exclaimed.
"What?!" Mr 8 gasped, disbelievingly. "But how the hell can they just disappear?!"
Every bounty hunter started looking around in every way with fear and worry etched on their faces. What didn't come to mind is that the two pirates are right on the ground with them.
The swordsman and quartermaster mess with the town of bounty hunters by searching for the pirates along with them.
Soon everyone turned and gaped at them in fear and shock. Eyes were bugging out of all heads.
The two of them dropped the act and smirked at the bounty hunters mockingly.
Those holding their rifles aimed at them.
"Who do you think you are?!"
"Fire!!"
A hail of bullets was shot off but every one of them either missed the intended target or took out one of their agents. The two Straw Hats vanished out of sight yet again.
Many Baroque Works agents were taken out and lay motionlessly on the dirt.
"Incompetent morons!!" Mr 8 exclaimed. "They just shot each other"
"Yeah. And the pirates got away" Mr 9 added.
Mr 8 growled. "JUST KILL THEM!! THEY'RE JUST TWO MEN AND A WOMAN!!"
However, he's inexplicably cut off when a katana blade pierces through his curly wig-like hair, mere inches from his face. Mr 8 dates not so much as flinch, fearing his face would soon be sliced if he did as much. He tensed up, eyes widened, and sweat started breaking out on his brow.
Your back is leaned against his own, an evil smirk decorating your features as your arm bends over your shoulder for your blade to poke through the latter's hair.
"Ora~ I am offended that I was still underestimated despite knowing my position as a Shichibukai. Isn't that big canyon I accidentally caused not too long ago not enough to show my power??" you commented.
"Ask yourself. Will one gravestone be enough??" Zoro taunted, adding his sword to Mr 8's neck from the other side of his face. "I think with our lovely Arsene here, you'll need at least a couple dozen more"
The swordsman's praise elicits chuckles from the black fedora-hatted spearwoman.
More Baroque Works agents appeared, showing their lack of brightness when they aimed their long-range weapons at you, Zoro, and subsequently at Mr 8.
"There they are!! Now!!"
At the sound of guns clicking, readied to fire, Mr 8 turned blue in horror and his eyes bulged out of his eye sockets. "NO!! DON'T SHOOT!! WAIT!! YOU'RE GOING TO SHOOT ME!! STOP!!" He shouted in a panic.
"Igarapapa!!" Bending back slightly, Mr 8 blew into his saxophone, taking out a handful of agents aiming at him.
Amid distraction, the trio escaped again and took refuge behind a nearby wall.
"Alright, you idiots. Where did they escape to this time??" Mr 8 snarled to his grunt agents still standing.
Zoro sighed in relief. "So that thing's a weapon, huh??"
"Never would have guessed," Ghin remarked.
"Say, how about we make this night even more interesting??"
"How do you mean??" Ghin inquired.
"Who can take out the most Baroque Works agents sounds fun" you grinned.
"You're right. That does sound like fun" Zoro smirked, hands on the new blades he received in Loguetown.
"I'll let you boys go first for a head start"
"Getting cocky there, aren't you, Arsene??" Ghin grinned.
"Oh, I could beat all their asses in under five minutes but I want to see how far you guys have come. I wouldn't want to take all the spotlight now, hm??" you replied humorously, smirking.
"Well then. Challenge accepted" The swordsman's smirk broadened.

"It seems as though this guy might be able to put up a fight. Even against us" Mr 9 muttered.
"Can they possibly be so stupid that they think they can fight all of us by themselves?? What kind of people would even consider challenging us after knowing that we are all Baroque Works??"
"Did you forget that we're dealing with a pirate of infamous level?! Not only that but also a Shichibukai!!" Mr 9 whisper shouted. "The Phantom Thief, Arsene would have obliterated us a long time ago. Her first bounty was well over the hundred million marker. That's ten times what the usual put-out bounty for rookies is"
"She's humoring us by going easy and letting the rookies deal with the fight. Rumor has it that the main reason why she was offered the position was that she managed to get her hands on taboo knowledge and dark secrets of the World Government" Ms. Wednesday added. "The World Government doesn't show it but they're terrified of her. They offered her so they could keep her in check. She's like a walking bomb that could blow up anytime if they don't do something. She's smart, sly, resourceful, and one of the strongest fighters in the known and unknown world"

The mumbles of conversation and patterns of footsteps soon follow as the organization of bounty hunters scatters to look for the pirates.
Zoro turned his attention to his new blades. "Ah yes. My new recruits from Loguetown: Yubashiri and Kitetsu III. Now's a good time as any to see what you two are made of. And with these thugs, we don't need to hold back" Zoro grinned.
You smirked, hands on your two new swords. "Ne Mochi. You're not the only one who wants to test out the new blades"
"Haha!! I got you now!!" a cowboy-dressed bounty hunter stood atop the set of homes the three were hiding behind, aiming his twin pistols at them.
Your heads snapped upwards, staring down the barrels of the guns.
"DIE!!"
You snagged the two Straw Hats and forced open the door of the house they were leaning against to avoid being shot.
"Dang!!"
"Thanks for the save," Zoro said.
"Not free and clear yet" Ghin spoke up.
You went behind a table the room provided and flipped it. Not even a second later, the agents surround you with open fire.
"Up first, Yubashiri" Zoro grinned. He slashed at the table shielding them, lunging over the two halves and out the door in a blur. He reappeared behind the group that shot at them, looking over his blade with a predatory grin. "Light. Well balanced"
A mere second afterward, the bounty hunters fell to the ground, sporting several bleeding slash wounds on various parts of their bodies.
You emerged out of your hiding spot and grabbed Zoro by the wrist as Ghin followed alongside. "You'll have time to admire later. Staying put is no good in this situation"
"There's the sneaky rats!! This way, guys!!"
"Hold it!!"
Ghin smirked over his shoulder. "Looks like they found us"
Taking a sharp turn, you came to a wooden ladder leading up to an adobe roof.
"He's coming your way!!"
Awaiting them on the roof is a bounty hunter armed with a bazooka. "He's mine!!"
You reappeared behind him with your blade against his neck causing his eyes to be widened in shock. "Ora~ You should've expected this to happen, no?? Blame yourself for your carelessness" After that, you sliced his throat as he fell instantaneously.
"Such a shame . . .I just changed this outfit" you growled in disgust, wiping the blood off your blade.
Behind the pirates, another bounty hunter drops in, armed with a huge stone hammer.
Zoro is the first to act, whirling around while drawing out Kitetsu. Spinning back, the blade slashes the stone end of the hammer in half of its own volition before finishing off the Baraque agent in a single slash.
At the sudden action, Zoro gaped at the katana. "What the hell is it doing?!" He glared, displeased, down at the blade. "Well, Kitetsu III, you're quite sharp. But you're also a bit of a troublemaker, aren't you??" He berated. "A good sword only cuts when its master directs it to"
"What would you expect from a cursed sword??" You queried.
"Well, cursed or not, it's going to listen to me now"
"Die!!" a tiny voice was heard.
The group turned to see a small boy coming at them with a dagger.
You stopped the little boy by gripping his wrists tightly, forcing him to release his hold on the dagger. A nun appeared by his side to embrace him.
"No!! Please have mercy on the little boy!!" She pleaded. "I beg of you!!"
Without a second thought, you hit both their necks causing them to be knocked out. They fell in defeat, a soft groan escaping their lips before they hit the ground.
"Forgive me but I've seen this cheap trick too many times now and it's getting old," you remarked coldly.
Ghin looks over the roof end to see more agents following up the ladder. "More coming. We better keep moving"
"Right," You and Zoro nodded in agreement.
"They just keep on climbing" A Baroque work agent complained.

The bounty hunters cornered the Straw Hats and the Phantom Thief onto a roof with the only escape route being the ladder he went up. They began to pile onto the wooden ladder in groves, thinking they'd finally gotten their quarry boxes in.
Though the unlucky chap who up first came to a real nasty surprise. The three pirates weren't running in fact, they were parked at the top waiting for them.
Ghin smirked down at the man who was unfortunate enough to be the first up the ladder. He then began to tease them by pushing them lightly against the top rung with his foot in a precarious position. The poor bounty hunter looked like he wanted to piss himself.
"Come on, Ghin. Don't tease the poor guy" Zoro chuckled, obviously enjoying the scene while you giggled at this peculiar sight.
"Oh, alright. See ya" Ghin gave a hard enough shove to push the ladder over the edge, creating a domino effect against all the other ladders below. Before the ladder could fall, the three pirates used it to vault over to the rooftop across from them.
"Look out!! They're coming right for us!!"
"S-shoot them!!"
The bounty hunters armed with rifles and pistols open fire on the mid-air pirates though it didn't connect with their targets as Arsene and Ghin twirl their weapons in front of themselves, shielding them from the hail of bullets as they leaped, taking a handful of the Baroque agents out.
Zoro then stepped up to deal his own set of damage. "Two sword style . . .Hawk Wave!!" he took out the remainder of the agents, sending them flying in different directions.
"You know, I'm starting to get tired of this so let's get this over with" You started to become annoyed with the agents' numbers and every move they make.
You sheathed your sword back and took out your new spear named Shu. The four high-ranking agents gaped in shock and started scrambling around in panic.
"Shit!! She's going to kill us all!!" Mr 9 exclaimed.
"We've stalled too much time!! We better take cover before she initiates the attack!!" Ms. Wednesday added.
"You fools!! Stop her before she does it!!" Mr 8 shouted while running.
"There's no time!!" Ms. Monday quickly ran out of the way to take cover.
You jumped up high and spun Shu around with a grin before landing a strike.
"Bottomless Ravine" (I swear, I'm not good at naming attack moves. Help)
You slashed Shu vertically in full strength as you landed at the edge of the rooftop causing the ground to form a canyon across the island from where you're standing, destroying the houses in the process. The man-made canyon's bottom is nowhere in sight, assuming that it's bottomless.
The four high-ranking agents got up from their hiding spot and gaped at the destruction you caused.
"Monster . . ." Ms. Monday muttered.
"It's a good thing she went easy on us from the beginning or else everyone would've died from that horrible single strike. She wasn't a Shichibukai for nothing" Mr 9 panted while his legs were trembling.
"What the . . .fuck is that, Arsene??" Zoro questioned with his face in a shocked daze.
"Just how strong are you??" Ghin asked, shocked as well.
You planted Shu on your shoulders and turned to the two shocked Straw Hats. "Wait till you meet the other Shichibukai. They're on a whole another level like me so this much is nothing" you huffed.
"Don't move!!" a shrill voice made the three pirates shift their attention to the source, revealing a snoring Luffy with the former holding a knife to the latter's bloated stomach. "If you even think about doing anything foolish, pirates, your friend here will be paying the price"
You guys are now placed in a dilemma. While you have the strength to beat them, you'll only put your dear rubber boy at risk.
Mr 9 laughed haughtily at the situation going his team's way. "Well done, Ms. Wednesday. It looks like there will be no escape for the pirates this time unless they want their friend to die"
You raised a brow, knowing she wouldn't do such a thing as take away a life. You watch with a deadpan look as the other agents start to attack and sigh, getting bored of this ludicrousy.
"Let's split up. I'll save your captain while you deal with the rest" you drawled, disappearing out of sight.
They nodded and split up. You went behind Ms. Wednesday and gripped her shoulder tightly. She flinched in pain and started to sweat bullets as she slowly turned around and looked at your tall figure. You were smiling down on her sadistically as she looked at you in fear. You knelt and whispered something to her ear which caused her eyes to widen while you took advantage of it and grabbed Luffy out of her grip.
You smirked. "Forgive me for the shocking news but I must go now. See you" you left, leaving the shocked agent in a daze.
You walk to where Zoro and Ghin are, standing near the collapsed Mr 8 and Ms. Monday while Mr 9 is nowhere to be seen.
"Are you guys done on your end??" you asked.
"Yep. It's done" Zoro sighed.
"Now perhaps we can get some well-deserved peace" Ghin groaned.
You joined their sides at the roof edge with the gorgeous view of the moonlit town. However, it was interrupted by a nearby explosion as the two figures emerged.
"What do you wanna bet that these two are more Baroque Works agents?" Ghin sighed annoyed.
"If anything like that weird fashion sense and the number 5 plastered on that guy's jacket, I'd say so," you remarked with an irk mark on your forehead. This is starting to get annoying.
"Should we go in and attack??" Ghin questioned.
"Nah, I don't think so. They don't seem to have noticed us yet so let's just hang bang and watch the show" You reasoned.
Then hell broke loose with the inner conflict of Baroque Works and you were honestly not surprised that the princess would be exposed but you don't know why did it have to be now of all times.
