Chapter 7 - 1.7 This messenger's retaliation

A-Xue turned around, looking at Atlas wide-eyed. He peered at the gang leader standing at his side and yelled:

"What the hell did you do?"

Atlas sat at the top of the bed and crossed his legs.

"You and mother aren't my opponents."

A-Xue looked at him stunned, he knew all along. Atlas nodded at the man behind him and he restrained A-Xue. He yelled as he brought him to the bed.

He watched Atlas leave, panicked.

"No, this isn't what you think."

Atlas turned around and asked with a smile:

"Really? You weren't planning to let those five men have their way with me?"

A-Xue peered into his eyes and knew that there was nothing he could say. He looked at the man he was in contact with and seethed:

"You son of a bitch, let me go! I paid you a million!"

The man just smiled at him mockingly. His mother is the one who gave him his number. When they met, they agreed on 30 000 but then an hour later he called and said he wanted a million, or he'll report him to the police.

Since he knew he would be president soon, he emptied all his bank accounts and offered him all he had left.

He thought that to have Atlas suffer was worth it, but now it was all in vain.

"Have as much fun as you want, as long as all of you take at least two turns each. Every one of you better film everything."

A-Xue looked at Atlas, scared out of his mind, he begged:

"Please Atlas, I'm sorry. I'm not gay, please don't do this."

Atlas smiled mockingly.

"What does it have to do with being gay? I just want you to suffer."

A-Xue looked at him shocked.

The original was gay, but it doesn't mean he wanted to be assaulted by a group of men. He added:

"I told them not to drug you because I want you to remember every part of tonight."

Atlas left, slamming the door behind him. The leader looked at A-Xue with a dirty smile and started to strip him.

He left the hotel and was driven to another one. He went to his room accompanied by his assistant and when he put down his bag, he left.

Atlas closed the door and ordered food. He linked his computer with Aurora and started to make some editing. When he was done, he closed his laptop and stripped to take a shower.

His clothes were on the floor as he walked to the bathroom with only a boxer on. He stopped when he heard a knock. He frowned, walking toward the door. Atlas stopped when it was forcibly kicked open.

He watched as Shengli barged in. Shengli stared at the scattered clothes on the floor and a practically naked Atlas, furious. He looked around frantically, angrier than he's ever been.

Atlas let him look around and walked to the entry. He closed the door on the two bodyguards outside. Before he could speak to Shengli, he was pushed against the wall.

Shengli had a tight hold on his wrist, his eyes red with anger. He seethed:

"Where is he?"

"Where is who?"

"The man you came in with, tell me where he is, so I can kill him."

He came back early to spend Atlas' birthday with him, and this is what he had to come back to. Shengli had to rush from the airport to drive to the hotel before anything happened between the two.

He'll kill the man and lock Atlas somewhere where only he'll be able to see him. Atlas looked at him with ridicule. That's it. He was already out of patience, but now Shengli acts this way?

He forcibly pushed him away. Atlas' eyes were cold as ice as he yelled:

"It was my assistant. Shengli you don't get to do this. You don't get to be angry or jealous when you're married! Is this a joke?"

Shengli took a step back and pulled something out of his back pocket. He unfolded the paper and showed it to Atlas. Atlas glanced at the paper for a few seconds, then reached for it, to read it completely.

While he was reading, Shengli approached him.

"I had already started the procedure to annul our marriage contract, but it took longer than anticipated. I didn't want to tell you until I finalized it. I know that you only believe what you see."

Atlas gave him back the paper with narrowed eyes. He hasn't been checking on Shengli since he left, so he had no idea he terminated the contract sooner.

Shengli put the paper away and took another step forward.

"I want to be with you."

Atlas crossed his arms and asked:

"Why?"

Atlas already knows why, but he wants to hear him say it. He waited too long to be with him, plus this is the first time that someone loves him.

Shengli pulled him into his embrace and confessed:

"Because I love you. I love you so much, baby."

Atlas only looked at him for a few seconds, then glanced down. Shengli lifted his head, but Atlas seemed unwilling. He held onto his face with both hands and saw that Atlas was close to tears.

When he blinked a tear fell and Shengli wiped it. He asked nervously:

"Do you love me?"

Before he thought that he only liked him, but he feels Atlas' love for him now. But still, deep down, he has this fear that maybe he wants it so much that he's imagining it.

Atlas wanted to look anywhere but in his eyes, but he nevertheless did, and admitted:

"I do, I love you."

Shengli let out a breath he didn't realize he had taken. He felt a lump in his throat as his eyes moistened. Seeing him like that, Atlas felt like, the wait was worthwhile.

He knew Shengli loved him, but hearing it and seeing his emotional face is something else. He never thought he would come to love someone, but he does. He loves Shengli so much.

He wrapped his arms around his neck and said:

"I love you so much too."

Shengli felt his heart tremble and gripped him, as he buried his face in his neck. He loves me. After his father passed away, he didn't think he could be happy again, but at this moment he is happier than he's ever been.
