After many weeks of collecting bodies I've successfully leaned to fly around with my blade using it to maneuver mid air even whilst attacking to avoid missing and even some limited control over my sword in certain range using the mana saved in my sword. However it looses it's edge on the first strike and just holds the mana core as it moves about however moving that mana core outside my hand takes mana and it quickly runs out. So it's better reserved for if I'm ever disarmed to retrieve my blade or a sudden sneak attack to kill another player. Or a special npc. Special NPCs are rather unique in the game they seldom pop up before master level but they do from time to time. It's an NPC that displays combat process above it's grade like a Smurf player but they can also level which is a trait most mob NPCs do not possess. However they can no upgrade by a grade. For instance a basic unique npc can only read basic level 10... usually unique NPCs pop up amongst mass spawn of trash it's very rare for boss like NPCs to become unique supposedly it happened once with a level 100 master dungeon aka elite dungeons... much like the level 50-100 dungeon they are all master level but every mob in a level 100 dungeon is at the level of a saint. Granted they are almost all on the lower levels of a saint till you get to a boss whose usually slightly higher level saint then your party should be able to handle. These dungeons are called elite dungeons simply because you must be above the average cap master level player to beat it. Otherwise you'll simply be entering a dungeon to drop all the mobs... which in all fairness is quite common after all going in to clear out the mobs is like entering a dungeon that has nothing but bosses who give boss level loot. If you can do then clearly the mobs can be quite lucrative. However it's widely believed that the only reason master level players are actually interested in those dungeons is that it's a part of the ascension quest but no one ever really actually talks about the ascension quest line. Some say it's because the quest is different for everyone or simply that the system auto deletes any content about the ascension quests others say not speaking about ascension is a part of the ascension quest and speaking about it marks the quest as failed and you never get to do it again. It would explain why even Crys and Annie refuse to speak about it. As for my current progress on sword bloodlines... doing fine... I mean I'm only 500 waves in so far and the monsters are all normal grade and the occasional expert grade just like how the previous trial had all basic grade with the occasional normal grade. However all the next grade of people are close if not in the same bracket of levels as you. For instance the expert grade monsters will never exceed level 25 despite their cap bring 50... that is in the trial... However between 1-25 in the expert grade all the levels only increase stats incrementally not multiplication. It only starts going up by multiples again at level 40. Before that the increment just rises by one of your base every 5 levels after 25... so if you start the expert grade with 1000 stats then you'd gain 1000 between 1-25 then you'd gain 2000 between 25 and 30 then 3000 then 4000 after that it's times 2 for the next 10 levels. Granted for your stats to be so low you'd need to be a pretty basic bitch... or cursed...
After weeks of killing I've finally reached the 1000+ area and my inventory is only half full... new bag is op as fuck... I wish I could hold back on all the peak legendary bloodlines but I can't just make more then one bloodline in my bag at a time or I'd be wasting slots and theirs no further value to it. So by this point I've already gotten 1000+ peak legendary bloodlines and 10000+ epic bloodlines I've cut down on all the other bloodlines but some are still beneath epic with about 26000 ish none epic bloodlines sitting around... That's well over 37000 bloodlines of random new animals with sword bloodlines. No bloodlines are still stuck at common right now most are in the rare phase or the uncommon phase. I'm gonna need another sloth stone by the time I get through with this... It's been a couple weeks since I've entered the none stop battle portions and eventually it'll start spawning more frequently as my stamina is not currently a problem at all due to my chaos tempering skills advancement allowing me to restore my stamina with mana rather then restoring my health the moment my mana runs out... So I swap between chaos tempering chaos blade based on my stamina. It took 2000 waves for the enemies to start piling up as now all the enemies are expert level with level 25... Luckily I'm still holding on strong I'm able to dodge much easier with my control/movement skill developed from chaos blade and have an advantage over land and water beast whenever I need to walk on water. After 500 more waves the enemies started breaking through to levels above 25... It took me a couple hits to kill them now so they started pile up faster. At wave 3000 the mosts were already level 50 on average and I have a feeling at wave 3500 it'll reach into the master rank... However I'm still holding strong I'll probably hold out till then... I doubt I'll make it to 4000 as if it does reach the master rank I'm fucked past level 10 every master rank mob could kill me easily... Surprisingly it didn't start the master rank till level 4000... as after that they started raising in level by 1 every 100 levels so I actually managed to reach 5000 at which point I realized my estimations were off and barely managed to irque my way through wave 5000 while fighting off the other 30 waves that have spawned on top of that. Then I died. Being brought back to life I looked at my status then my skills and weapons and figured out why my calculations were off... I had forgotten about my new status abilities from the rifle strapped to my back and armor... with my swordmanship at level 500 expert and my armor at level 100 across the board including my gun many of the skills have also leveled up... Along with my compass whose not really providing much stats... But definitely moral support from the always cheery Alice whose been cheering along all this time as the compass is currently level 568 it's not far off of reaching the cap of the motal rank... Sighing to myself... I look at my level which is at 1 and my chaos blade skill which has been upped to peak immortal, I think... First came stage 1 immortal then it went to stage 10 immortal before reach immortal knight for ten stages then immortal king for ten stages now I'm at immortal saint...
*[Chaos Blade - Level 500 - Stage 5 Immortal Saint - A blade filled with chaos mana. Flows like water naturally and freely as the breeze at the whims of it's master but can fly the skies like a rocket at it's masters behest.*
While the skill does a shit ton of damage it's still not quite enough to compare with my own stats damage alongside the level 500 unique sword manifestation talent... I recently realized my sword talents were leveling up with the new cap as I grew... As for the new sword breaker talent it's quite interesting... It increased my levels by 200... which means the master level will raise it by 500... I just need to do my last trial at 50 and I might be able to get there... The blade skill also stopped costing any additional mana per set numbers of swings at the immortal level but won't let me add more mana in to raise the damage like I used to be able to... Nor can I control the mana core as it no long exists... Luckily it still lets me control the blade... and damage others but it's still impossible past a certain distance and mentally straining to do for long periods of time... So I've just hand chaos blade on all the time of late. Alongside chaos tempering which is now level 100 and seems to resonate with the skill somehow and my body has been absorbing the unique chaos mana during tempering to boost my bodies HP more... Currently my HP has reached 13456 after about two months of killing. Now for my quest... Looking out over the boundless sea now stained red and the tally in the corner of my screen stopped forever at the number 5000 no further no less. I can't help but sigh... I got so far... Pulling out my old armor sets I begin to disassemble them one by one starting from the rare grade earlier growth sets then the epic and legendary grade ones after that... I manage to get myself all the way up to level 43 despite still technically being in the trial... Which made me laugh a little at Ela... granted I've killed hundreds of thousands of people with those armor sets and got exp for it... She hasn't done that... As for my current armor set... I'm don't plan to disassemble it ever... It's a matching set with my family I will upgrade it to unique grade before upgrading it to immortal grade. Sure it'll be harder that way but it'll have more potential... As it's currently level 100 across the board raising it to unique grade will turn all the stats into percentages even the skill bonuses then I can get more out of the gear. Then when I pull it to immortal all the levels will reduce to one and increase up again... out of all the armor skills... well flower Lover is actually level 100... yin Eater is a no... But I've got Alice around me all the time and I just think she's adorable... as for Yin-Yang Blade it's also level 100...
After reaching dealing with everything I clicked accept on the skill window and a teleportation circle began to form infront of me. After a short while it lights up but nothing happens... 5 minutes later a woman pops up on the teleportation pad dressed in tattered rags and limping. Other then the blood mud and dirty rags shredded to piece of her body she's quite the breathtaking beauty... As for the rest... well it's not unattractive but it's definitely not my fetish... Bloodletting and poor/dirty fetishes are... in existence I know that. The woman looks at me before breathing a sigh of relief and suddenly appearing in front of me and wrapping her slender arms around me and snapping both my arms... Wincing a little at the overly powerful hug I start to heal her and myself while I wait for her to explain why both my arms are broken but she never does she just turns her back to me and starts stripping as she walks to the water and washes herself off then pulls a new set of cloths out of no where and changes in front of me... Eventually the lady returns and finally has bearing of what I expected... a noble lady for sure... So what is her sepciality? Manifesting my blade I display my chaos blade skill before a very shocked audience as she walks over and inspects the blade before she looks at me like a freak.
"Expert level blade breaker, some sort of special sword class and a chaos skill and tempered body with a peak level 500 immortal saint stage 5 chaos blade skill... I see why they finally summoned me... You know it's been thousands of years since I've been called to teach anyone... I was quite surprised then especially since it happened mid fight when I was about to be killed... Lucky me..." Staring at the talkative lady I can't help but smile... She got something wrong... But I leave it at that and don't explain my class as the lady begins to inspect my armor and gets a peculiar look on her face before asking me a question.
"Are you a dual cultivation? I have never seen one of those in the mortal realm before did someone discover a mortal grade dual cultivation technique? I thought those were impossible..." Thinking about the question for awhile I can't help but think this next world might actually be themed around Chinese cultivation...
After a long conversation later about the immortal world Mentor Josephine has informed me no not everyone in the immortal world are cultivators by nature but every tends to revolve around one kind of growth gathering of different kinds of energy. The cultivators tend to gather qi... so yin and yang qi classify as dual cultivation. As for the specifics? I don't know she can't answer... Something about the laws of the trial grounds. That not even the gods would dare share such information. As for my sword technique it's a pretty high standard but not the peak... Immortal Saint is the second to last grade before reaching the peak which is just titled demigod... however the demigod has way more then ten stages... It's rather difficult to understand like the unique grade. She told me to reach demigod or above I'd need to master more then just chaos mana or refine my mana further through the path of chaos. Both are options and both were suggested... Yep... She said I needed to do both... She claims getting past demigod requires both however she didn't instruct how to do either. She mainly suggested a bunch of things to do with my chaos skills and taught me how to turn my chaos Refinement technique into a sword skill so that I could raise it to level 500 as well... it took me awhile but I got it down by trying to absorb back my sword into my body while keeping chaos blade on I managed to cycle the partially formed blade skill through my body... it was extremely painful and caused a lot of bleeding... After repeated cycles I managed to get it down and finally altered the skill which sadly lowered it to level 1... but technically altered the already unique skill into a unique body talent by partially fusing it with my sword manifestation it has become a part of my sword manifestation talent as such a talent... After many discussions Josephine suggest I try to do that with everything I can cause my sword talent would make it much easier... Also it'll make all my body talents sword skills over time through my new chaos blade body refining talent my mana body will slowly fuse with my mana sword heart and turn into a chaos sword body... The good part is seeing as I'd be basing this all off my chaos blade skill technically it all starts as a level 1 stage 5 Immortal Saint talent... And grows as I progress that skill... Granted they will be lesser as skills progress through grade and level so not leveling my skill in each grade is an issue... Seeing as they'd all skip a few grades I have to use the slowly over time part to constantly level the skills up... After the discussion bit was over we both had to start the quest or one of us would get in trouble... The quest isn't about teaching each other it's about fighting. Granted she's still meant to be my teacher but I'm meant to learn through fighting her. After much discussion she made it obvious she was a chaos magician. Someone who abandoned the path of a magus to follow chaos. When she realized I technically made my mana core a part of my entire body head to toe and that it contains storage for every medium of mana and I've been working to enhance each path individually at once she almost choked... after tempering my body with chaos mana and sword mana I actually found something interesting that it's also tempering my mana itself... seeing as chaos includes all the mana and the sword mana is just sword energy the mana was battling with the simpler but equally powerful energy none stop before returning to being regular elemental energy then fusing to become chaos energy and fighting the sword energy again... Basically killing off the sword mana and elemental mana that isn't good enough or slamming it with a hammer till the shit gets straight... So it won't remove my mana or elemental energies it'll just temper those things outright... Josephine suggested I max out all my body related skills and temper my body to the limit before eventually trying to turn the pure mana in the core into chaos mana... She seemed to imply that regular mana is in a sense chaos mana... You can't directly differentiate the two as regular mana becomes all forms of elemental mana and chaos mana is born through all forms of elemental mana... It's like if you reforged a blade into a shield but then reforged it back into a blade again... Same lump of metal still cuts but inherently different then it was at the start...
