Looking around the room I looked at Crys then Affie...
"Does Anna have a bloodline?" Both women looked confused as we then all turned to the little lady happily hopping around in the distance bragging about how great she is to the now dead succubus queen... as we all stared she returned then got embarrassed by out stare before finally asking what's wrong.
After an hour or so of interrogation we have decided she's telling the truth and the others all chose to try out a peak level dungeon. We never attempted one in the past because they end in a saint level boss. While we stand no chance against the boss we can always attempt to clear the mobs which will between 50 and a hundred. Aka master level NPCs. Most of the measurement of strength after the basic level goes down to grade then level. Basic being 1-10 then normal of 11-25 which is a large strength gap then comes expert level which is 1-50 as the levels start again after the 25 quest. Then comes Master level which is 1-100 in level. However a level 1 master level npc could wipe the floor with a level 1 regular mob. Both Affie and Crys are level 100 master level players. However unlike mobs a high amount of their stats and skills require weapons of certain kinds equipment or gear. A master level boss at level 100 would be meant to take on at least five players with the same level and equipment and skills as a master level npc. That's why the saint level exists to diffetiate the two groups in the lore of the game. It's not a whole new level but the vast difference between a boss and a player. A saint can span anywhere between a 2-3 person boss to a boss on the level of making a full 1000 man raid group wipe. Erica would be a level 3 saint while the undead maniac is a level 2 saint. Meaning Erica could require a forty man team while the undead maniac would require a 10-20 man team. If goes level 1: 2-9, level 2: 10-20, level 3 21-40, level 4: 41-80, level 5: 81-160, level 5: 161-320, level 6: 321-640, level 7: 640-1000. Past that is the 3 levels to differentiate the pillar level before it becomes the immortal level. A level 1 pillar level would likely require a hundred or so level 7 saints so a hundred thousand peak level players. Then a multiple of ten for 2 then a multiple of a thousand for 3. So 1million players for a level 2 pillar then 1billion. Which is why its theorized that it's impossible for anyone to take down a level 1 pillar let alone a level 2 or 3... the pillar beasts beneath level 3 are actually super easy to find though. Unlike the level 3 ones that only 7 exist throughout the 7 continents the level 1 and 2 just roam randomly around the oceans banished from the land to roam the sea by the stronger beasts. They are commonly known as the barrier beasts seeing as they exist to prevent players from getting between the continents. One barrier beast was killed throughout the history of the game... but it wasn't killed by players but a pillar beast after it invaded land and the saints grouped up to fight that barrier beast then got killed by it before the pillar beast intervened. Which is why the southern continent is considered the weakest. Many believe it was a display to show that even all the saints of one continent can't fight one level 2 barrier beast. However even that isn't the peak. Others claim the ai just wanted a clearer power structure of the continents. Others say it was a plot element that will come to every continent eventually as players start the quest that results in all the saints falling and the dungeon bosses becoming the peak resulting in a chaotic continent. Which the southern continent did become. Others just say a player fucked around and pissed off a barrier beast before dragging it all the back to land and screwed over their whole continent another says the enemy of the southern continent somehow did it because while players can't move from continent to continent easily it's still possible with luck or a special way to avoid the barrier beasts. After the death of that barrier beast the southern continent became the hardest to enter or exit though as the other barrier beasts are constantly on the move fighting one another for the territory at sea as the balance was screwed up.
As we entered the dungeon all the girls begin to argue of course Anna's new arrogant persona started it as she attempted to show off for me by claiming she'd be more valuable to the party then Ela... seeing as they both serve damage roles and the distance isn't as vast as between me and her... seeing as I'm literally a tank who one shots everything and a limited mana healer... It's difficult to say anyone in the party is as valuable as me... even Crys and Affie likely wouldn't be able to one up me easily as they are tank and healer classes they don't do a lot of damage and they have a high requirement for armor. Affie needs high quality cloth gear for better healing along with a good staff while Crys needs high quality armor to boost her HP higher whilst raising her defense. Without their shield and staff they can't even fulfill those roles properly. I asked why they had such terrible equipment despite their level once and they claimed it was because when they left their families they left everything they didn't earn on their own merit behind. Affie even supposedly destroyed a piece of bound gear. Thinking about that discussion I decide I'ma need to make some peak legendary or unique equipment for them. Sadly a piece of unique equipment isn't ideal as it's difficult to raise them to the immortal grade. After the family ascends it'll be a handicap for awhile or require them to throw away something only they own. Seeing as unique equipment even if made exactly the same way is never the same. It may even be worse. Some say following the path of long unique quest item story lines they made legendary powerful equipment then the next day they sold the recipe and the people who bought it attempted to recreate it and wound up with trash that was bound to them. Some even got debuffs or curses. Moving on we all get back to the dungeon. I'll have to make the whole family a series of peak legendary sets later and then we can maybe try the boss despite not having 5 peak master level players we do have a peak master tank and healer then theirs me... and if we can drag the fight long enough Anna can partipate due to the damage buff on her guns not to mention Ela's an assassin class with succubus bloodline. She is a very strong control class. Despite bosses having stun immunities she can slow confuse and cause tons of other debuffs to the boss.
