Clear sky...
Warm weather...
occasionally chirping birds...
It is such a pleasant day to take some time off...
But when you're in a crater, and you can see a very unpleasant figure glaring at you, the pleasantness of the day gets not so pleasant.
"Sigh... how long do you plan to stare, Walu?"
The man at the centre of the crater asked Walu with a sigh.
"I am merely looking out for you, Goru Sama. After all, we are in a foreign land," said Walu.
"Damn lizard... mocking me till the end." thought Goru. He finally stood up and started to move towards Walu while dusting his clothes.
"Damn old man... punched me so hard that even my clothes are in tatters", murmured Goru noticing the state of his clothes.
While moving forward, he flicked his right hand. Suddenly a beam of light started circling Goru, it was moving at a quick pace while repairing his tattered clothes. By the time Goru reached Walu, his clothes had all been repaired.
Seeing Goru approach, Walu started to speak, "Goru Sama, I..".
"Which lower world are we in? Is it one of the C's or D's?" Goru asked a question, cutting off Walu.
"As Expected of Goru Sama, you have already narrowed it down. We are currently in the C's, C48 to be more precise." said walu.
"Well... A normal restoration spell should not take such a long time to complete. Which means I'm too weak due to the world's limitations. Anyway, how long do you plan on maintaining the concealment array." said Goru, looking at the sky.
"Now that Goru Sama is awake, I will cast a restoration spell to cover up the crater. Once it is complete, I will remove the concealment array and take my leave," responded Walu.
"Leave!?" Goru asked Walu with a puzzled face.
"Oh, forgive me for not telling you. My task is to carry a message to Goru Sama from Lord Roku." replied walu.
"Did he order me to clean up my mess before other factions get news about it? " Asked Goru with a Sigh.
"Yes..." Walu responded and continued, "I have also found that there are few Avatars that are making connections to the Divine guidance system in this world, which is a rare thing in lower worlds."
Listening to that, Goru started to analyze his situation.
"I'm currently in a C world, which means there is a limit on divine energy usage. But I should be able to work with that as long as it's within limits." As Goru was thinking this, he heard.
"You may already know this Goru Sama, but in most of the lower worlds, the officials assigned to that particular world get the prayers of its residents. So, they are the only ones that can use divine energy," said Walu, looking at Goru, who was deeply thinking.
"Oh... Okay..." said Goru before going back into his thoughts.
"Well... that's a bummer. But I did use the restoration spell. How was it possible when I can't use divine energy !?" he thought to himself. He wanted to ask Walu about it, but then he noticed something.
Walu has cast a large-scale restoration spell to restore the crater. Goru could sense the golden aura around Walu gradually reducing while the surroundings were restored. This gave a shock to Goru.
Golden Aura represents the amount of divine energy that is stored in oneself. Normally, when Goru Sama was at home in the crimson palace, he never cared to observe the amount of energy he uses since he can always have access to more, which is why he used it to restore his clothes without a second thought.
He immediately observed his aura.
"Shit..." was the only word that came to his mind after checking his aura. His Golden Aura was negligible at best.
"Cough... usually we have a certain amount of divine energy stored within ourselves. But we are in a lower world that has a lot of restrictions. Moreover, you were unconscious for quite some time. Due to this, most of the divine energy has leaked out of your body and was used by the world." said Walu in an awkward tone.
"Used by the world!? What the hell are you talking Walu."Goru was puzzled.
"Well..." Walu paused, thinking whether to tell him or not.
"Well... what is it?" Goru asked again.
"Well... you see, while you were travelling through space, you passed by many worlds..." Walu paused again.
"One's divine Energy gets drained just because they came near a few worlds?" Goru was even more puzzled.
"Well, many people saw you and thought of you as a falling star or a sign of divinity, so they made wishes. Since Worship is the source of divinity and you were unconscious, the world attracted it to fulfil their wishes."Walu finally completed what he wanted to say.
Walu could see the pale face filled with shock.
"Don't get discouraged, Goru Sama. It's common for such things to happen when someone from the higher worlds visits the lower worlds," said Walu with an awkward tone.
Worlds are divided into mainly 2 types: higher and lower worlds.
This is based on the amount of spiritual energy the world contains. When someone from a lower world cultivates to the peak in their world, they usually ascend to a higher world to continue their path to achieve immortality. But People from the higher worlds rarely visit the lower worlds unless it's essential. If such a thing does happen, they take utmost caution to prevent any information leaks. Therefore, Goru has never heard of losing divine energy, and why Walu is restoring the crater and maintaining a concealment array to avoid prying eyes.
With a deep breath, Goru recovered from his initial shock.
"Well... at least I can use spiritual Energy in this world. I can always match my cultivation to the peak of this world. That way, I can resolve the issue in the least amount of time," murmured Goru.
"Well, about that..." Walu remarked again with an awkward face.
"Now What ?!" Goru said in an unhappy tone.
"Goru Sama is not originally a part of this world, so the moment this world recognizes you as an external threat, it will force you to teleport out of it," said Walu.
"Hmm... considering what you just said is true, and seeing as we are still not teleported away, I guess you know the workaround?" asked Goru.
"As observant as always, Goru Sama, When Roku Sama sent you to the lower worlds, he sealed most of your cultivation. So, the world doesn't deem you a threat even though you created such an impact."
"So, the old man already thought things through, I guess. Even though it's a pain to undo the seals, it's not impossible. I just need to spend some time on it."Goru thought to himself.
"That much I have already noticed. what is the other thing." Goru asked with a stern tone.
"Even though your cultivation is sealed, you are still an outsider. You may be a small threat, but a threat nonetheless."Walu continued, "So, the stronger you grow, the greater of a threat you are."
"So, the stronger I become, the less time I get to deal with my mess," thought Goru to himself.
"I have also heard that there were times when you get teleported away even though they were acting within the known limits. Which means you must be careful about how you act," warned Walu.
After talking to Walu for some time, Goru decided to get out of the concealment array to understand this world better. He wanted to check if he could connect successfully to the divine guidance system before Walu left.
With a flick of his hand, he created an Avatar. It was a small book formed from his remaining divine energy. Anyone who sees it will mistake it for any other ordinary book.
Looking at this, Walu felt a bit relieved. He understood that Goru had heeded his warnings and would try to blend in with the residents of this world.
Goru's Avatar was able to make a successful connection, but he was utterly void of divine energy. Due to this, the information he was able to access was limited.
Being a descendant of one of the great three, he can access far more information than others. That being the case, he obtained enough information to get started.
While reading and analysing the information in the book, Walu noticed that the crater had been restored to its previous state, which is a mountain. Although a restoration spell can reconstruct the damaged things, it cannot return the dead. Walu ensured that the land swallowed all the dead beasts while being reconstructed.
The spell takes a reference from the memory of the things on which it was cast and reconstructs it similarly. Walu has cast it in a forest, so the spells took the memory of the forest as a reference and reconstructed the missing mountain. People who are familiar with the area might feel something amiss, but someone who visits occasionally will not find any difference.
"Goru Sama, I have something for you."Walu interrupted Goru, who was in the middle of analyzing the information.
"What is it, Walu?" asked Goru.
Walu took out a red circular pendant made from glass-like material and handed it to Goru. He said, "Goru Sama, this has only one purpose. If you ever find yourself in a life and death situation, break it."
"So, it's an emergency teleportation device. This lizard does care about me after all." thought Goru. A smile can finally be seen on his face.
"I will keep that in mind, " responded Goru while placing the pendant in his sleeve, which contains a small pocket dimension.
Pocket dimensions are created by immortals to store goods. Even though things can be stored in a pocket dimension, they cannot support life. So, placing any living organism will cause its demise.
After handing the pendent to Goru, Walu removed the concealment array around the now mountain.
"Goru Sama, we will try our best to keep the information from spreading. I hope you can stay low and clear everything," said Walu before he teleported away.
"Stay low and clear everything up..." murmured Goru with a wry smile.
------------------------------------------------------
In a palace hovering in space above a world.
Two women dressed in blue robes were having a cup of tea in a garden.
"Master, recently, there has been a fluctuation in divine energy worldwide. What do you think we need to do?" asked one of them to the other.
"Well, about that..." Before the master completed her sentence, she sensed a spike in divine energy in her world, far exceeding the allowed limitations. "Looks like a real big shot has visited my lowly world. Should I pay him a visit?" she murmured to herself.
Suddenly, everything froze in time except for her, and a voice called out to her, "No, you shall not."
She immediately got alerted and tried to summon her swords, but to no avail. It's as if she was cut off from reality. She shouted, "Who dares to...." Before even completing her sentence, she suddenly knelt on her knees as she recognized the person in one glance.
"I apologize for ..."
"I dare not seek an apology from Walu Sama himself..." interrupted the woman before Walu could say anything.
"I hope you understand the situation," Walu said while hovering above the garden.
"None shall know that someone from the upper world has descended here." The Woman responded quickly.
"Hmm... very well then, I shall take my leave." Said Walu before teleporting away.
She felt like a mountain had been removed from her shoulders when he left.
"Master, what happened? Why are you kneeling on the floor?" asked the one sitting beside her while they were having tea.
But she was not in a state to respond.
"He could have used a teleportation device of a limited calibre to get out of the world without getting noticed. But intentionally using his divine energy to get my attention and warning me to keep quiet about it, something big is happening." She thought to herself.
