After Alex left the alchemy center he immediately went back to his residence, he was excited because he would start cultivating tomorrow, only reason he is not cultivating now was because his master told him that to build a good foundation for the cultivation journey he needed to have completely healthy body.
In the weeks he eat many different kind of pills, most of them was healing ones, but for some reason almost none of them worked on his injury, it wasn't a deep injury its just some kind of weird energy was blocking any healing powers to reach the tissue.
Alex'es master was worried about this, but no matter how many times he checked he couldn't find out the reason why this was happening, in the end he could only let Alex recuperate on his own.
In The Night.
Alex was sitting upright with his feet crossed, he was yes cultivating, Alex could not wait any longer to tomorrow, he wanted to get strong, he had one and only goal in his mind TO GET BACK.
After all this time in this world he still missed his old one, his family was one of the things he missed.

Alex opened his eyes wide open, in 10 minutes he almost broke through 3 levels?, normally he wouldn't be suprised but now he knew things about cultivation world and he knew how hard it is to actually advance, old people even in this sect sat for thousands of years to actually advance 1 level.

Alex was incredibly excited he broke through 5 levels in one night, he didn't care about anything else in this moment, his only thought was that he didn't needed to wait for thousands of years before going back, he saw a glimmer of light, Alex almost cried of joy.
Alex wiped off little tears that was accumulated in his eyes and finally tried to stand up, he wanted to sleep very well, in the meditation state he could not feel anything else than calmness, he didn't know why this was actually like this, in the meditation he could feel energy and thats it, of course his senses were still on so if someone attacked he would be able to sense it in matter of seconds, with this adjustments he could only see system doing it.
While this method was really convenient it wa mentally tiring, Alex was really sleepy right now.
He took his clothes on and put on more comfortable clothes on.
As he went to bed he was about to fall asleep he closed his eyes but asleep but...

His instincts kicked in, Alex immediately jumped off his bed and went rolling on the floor, he looked up and saw a dagger, dagger was dripping purple liquid, it was some kind of venom.

He was about to reach the drawer but in a split second, pale hand came out of the darkness and grabed his hand.

He was smirking at Alex and said "That was a good try, hehehe, you may have succeeded if i was any weaker"

Alex opened his eyes wide.
"(SHIT!! Foundation Establishment Level 1 Peak!!!, This is at the level of the elders!!!!!" Alex was panicking, this was what he saw from the elders back then when they were back, almost all of them was Level 9 of Foundation Establishment but it was still the same rank.
While he said the question Alex already knew he was an assassin, but because of this, he was very confused, all this time he never made any enemies in the sect, he hasn't even shown himself to all the elders.
Assassin was looking at Alex and guessed his thoughts he smiled and said "Hahahahah, kid you know that there are ways to make enemies without even doing anything, you just got very unlucky this time."
Alex looked at assasin and asked "Really???, then enlighten me sir" he added sir in his sentence.
Assasin was suprised and laughed he said "HAHAHAHAHAHAH, Alright then, Dead man can't say anything anyway, So there are wa-" Assasin started explaining how could someone make enemies without doing anything.
Alex didn't care about this, while he felt this assasin was really stupid, he was slowly getting closer to the wooden plate on his floor, this was for situations like this, his master prepeared it for him, there was another talisman there.

Alex looked at Aassasin while covering his hand, he barely stood up, he knew his spells wouldn't work here, the tier difference was really big, now when he knew that he could cultivate tiers easily he was cursing his master real hard, if Assasin wanted he could kill Alex with one hand but for some reason he got lucky and was targeted by psychopathic one.
Assassin started to move close to Alex really really slowly it was like he wanted to torture Alex with blood loss, and it probably was, the room was really big Alex and Assassin were far away from eachother.

In this moment a light flash in Alex'es mind, his thoughts accelerated to unimaginable levels, and as if lightbulb light up in his mind, his instincts got insanely fast, he looked at Assassin and gathered his energy on his leg, every ounce of energy he had, he even dismissed protection, every little ounce of energy he got was gathered in his feet, this happened in milliseconds , he took his feet up and it went towards Assassin.
Assassin didn't see energy gathering but he did see Alex'es feet punching towards him, he smiled and continued slashing towards Alex, he didn't think about it much, Alex was barely Qi Absorbing Level 1, he thought as last struggle, but even if he was psychopathic he was stil caotious, he made a little shield on where he predicted Alex would attack, he also made even shields all of his upper body that he thought Alex would attack but...
BAAAAAAAAAAANGGGG!!!!
Alex looked at Assassin with smirk on his face,
A Bang was heard, Assassin opened his eyes widely, he looked down and saw where punch landed and...
It was his crotch, yes a crotch, only place he didn't protect.

Assassin dropped his dagger and started screaming.

He immediately went to the drawer and used the talisman.
Then he went to the dagger and looked at Assassin his eyes were filled with killing intent, he thought for a moment and then tried to stab the Assassin.
He started to black out, dagger went to the Assassin, but because Alex spend all of his energy using a method to catch the assassin off guard dagger could not pierce a flesh of Foundation Establishment Cultivator.

Alex Thought "Fuck the venom... i lost to much blood" he thought this.
He feell close to the Assassin, before he could lose consciusness he looked outside and saw barrier like thing breaking, he thought this was Formation's he read about and understood why no one came here with all this noise and why assassin exposed himself, he also thought that formations were very expensive and even assassin at Foundation Establishment Cultivator would be able to buy it, it was most likely hired by someone at high level of ranks.
He thought about many things and finally feel asleep.
Moonlight showered two bodies in the room, there were noises of bugs outside.
