Peter Evans, the owner of the local garment company, inherited the business from his late father, who had built it from the ground up. As the only child, there was no drama over dividing the inheritance.
At the age of 23, Peter took over the company and, with his sharp business acumen, significantly improved its standing in the city. By 27, he was already working on expanding to other cities. His reputation as a successful businessman was further solidified by his regular donations to various charitable organizations and contributions to the town council for local infrastructure improvements.
His reputation as a successful businessman and generous benefactor made him one of the most sought-after bachelors in the city, leaving many young ladies heartbroken when he married June and settled down.
'This guy is too perfect. No wonder he was one of the most eligible bachelors in the city,' I mused while reviewing all the information I had gathered about June's husband.
'His image is too clean. Finding evidence of his cheating will be an uphill battle,' I thought, feeling a headache.
Despite Peter's impeccable public image, I had reason to believe he was cheating. The reason was clear on the system interface:
[Case: The Cheating Husband
Danger: F-
Requirement: Find evidence to prove Peter Evans's infidelity
Progress: 0%
Hint: Follow his steps; the truth walks with him]
When I received the case from June, a notification popped up on his system. Upon checking, I found a new tab labeled "Cases," where this new investigation was listed.
The case showed a title for the case. The danger rating was how much danger I would be in when completing the mission. From what I found out from the system, it was the lowest difficulty, and the maximum danger it posed was as much as rescuing a cat from a tree.
The system's requirement and hint gave me the confidence that Peter was indeed cheating. My only task was to find the evidence.
However, this proved to be more difficult than anticipated. I had been tailing Peter for the past week and hadn't uncovered a single piece of incriminating evidence.
I shadowed Peter everywhere—from his home to his office and every place he visited—but found nothing incriminating. If it weren't for the system's assurance, I might have started to doubt Peter's guilt myself.
The only breaks I got while following him were either when Peter was in his office or at night when he was home. I had asked June to inform me whenever Peter left the house, so even if it was late at night, i would be back on his tail immediately.
During the afternoons, while Peter was at work, I discreetly inquired at various places Peter frequented, hoping to uncover some dirt. But the man seemed squeaky clean—too clean, in fact.
At least all that tailing wasn't entirely in vain; I earned at least something in return.

'I reincarnated with a damn system, and the first skill I unlock is stalking. Not exactly glamorous, but I guess for a PI, it's practically essential,' I sighed, attempting to find some humor in the irony.
The next day, I was back at it, closely monitoring Peter. Night had fallen, and still, there was no clue in sight. But this time, something different happened.
Instead of heading home or to his usual spots, Peter drove to the other side of town—a place that had nothing to do with his personal or professional life.
Feeling a surge of excitement at the prospect of finally uncovering something, I trailed Peter. And lo and behold, my patience finally paid off. I finally found at least a small piece of dirt on the seemingly perfect man.
'What's a Mr. Perfect like you doing at a nightclub so late at night when you should be home with your dear wife?' I thought amused, watching with an intrigued expression as Peter stepped out of his car and entered the nightclub.
I waited a minute before leaving the car and heading into the nightclub, careful not to arouse suspicion. The club was packed with people enjoying the nightlife, neon lights flashing as the crowd moved to the beat on the dance floor.
At first, I couldn't spot Peter. But after scanning the room, I finally found him sitting with a girl, drinking and laughing together. My lips curled into a smirk as I observed the scene. I moved closer, finding a nearby seat where I could keep an eye on them without drawing attention.
Secretly, I filmed Peter openly flirting with the girl, who wore a dress that barely covered her. After a few drinks, they moved to the dance floor, where things quickly escalated. Their dancing involved grinding, petting, and even kissing, all out in the open. The dance floor was packed with a drunken crowd, too lost in their world to notice what was happening beside them.
After dancing to their hearts' content, Peter and the girl returned to their seats for a few more drinks. I watched as Peter leaned in, whispering something in the girl's ear that made her smile and nod in agreement.
They got up and left the sitting area, and I discreetly followed them, tracking their movements as they headed toward the men's washroom. A minute later, I entered the washroom, pretending to be just another patron.
I looked around but didn't see any sign of Peter or the girl. However, faint sounds were coming from one of the toilet cubicles. Curious, I tip-toed closer and recognized the unmistakable noises coming from inside. A knowing smile crossed my face as I quietly opened the door to the adjacent cubicle and slipped inside.
After closing the door, I stood on the toilet seat and carefully peeked over the edge of the adjacent cubicle. As expected, Peter was sitting on the toilet seat, his pants down, while the girl from earlier enthusiastically licked his dick as if it was her favorite lollipop.
I captured everything in high definition, recording the evidence I had been seeking for days.

'I finally solved my first case, so I won't bother with the little things,' I thought, feeling a giddy sense of accomplishment.
I continued to record, documenting everything from the initial blowjob to the hasty sex that followed in the cramped cubicle. Once they were done, I quickly stepped down and returned to a normal stance, blending in.
Peter and the girl emerged from the cubicle after fixing their clothes. The girl touched up her makeup in the mirror before they both left the washroom, clearly satisfied with their rendezvous.
A few seconds after hearing the door close, I exited the cubicle. I waited a minute, then followed them out, watching as they returned to their seats for another drink. Shortly after, Peter left the girl and headed out of the nightclub.
I hurriedly followed him back to his car, but instead of driving home, Peter took a different route. He drove for half an hour, eventually reaching the outskirts of town, where the road was flanked by dense forest on both sides.
Peter turned onto a dirt path and continued for another five minutes before stopping in front of a large mansion. He got out of his car and disappeared inside.
'June didn't mention anything about them having a mansion on the outskirts. Didn't Peter tell her about it? If so, why would he hide it from his wife?' I wondered, a knot of suspicion tightening in my chest. The more I thought about it, the stranger it seemed. A mansion, secluded in the forest, kept in the dark until Peter's arrival—it all pointed to something hidden, something secretive.
Deciding not to take any chances, I drove further into the forest, navigating through the narrow, winding dirt path until I found a spot far enough away that my car wouldn't be easily spotted. I parked, turned off the engine, and sat in silence.
I retrieved his binoculars from the glove compartment and observed the mansion from a distance. The building was large, almost imposing, with its dark windows and overgrown surroundings giving it an eerie feel.
For over an hour, I watched, waiting for any sign of activity, but the mansion remained still, shrouded in darkness save for the faint glow from a couple of windows. The lack of movement only deepened my curiosity. What was Peter doing in there, all alone? And why was this place kept a secret?
I felt an itch to investigate further, but I quickly realized I was ill-prepared for such a task. I hadn't brought the right tools to break in or even to conduct a proper reconnaissance.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Peter emerged from the mansion. My eyes narrowed as I watched Peter casually lock the front door, as if nothing was amiss, and head back to his car. I waited until Peter's vehicle disappeared down the dirt road before I started the car and cautiously followed, keeping a safe distance.
This time, Peter drove straight home, not deviating from his path. It was late by the time we reached Peter's home. I watched the gate from a safe distance before eventually heading back to my house. Initially, I had planned to give the evidence to June the next day, but the mansion on the outskirts had piqued my curiosity.
'I've already got the evidence. It won't hurt to delay showing it to June by a day,' I thought. The progress bar for the case already showed 100%—I had all the evidence I needed. Now, I just had to present it to June.
But first, I decided to investigate the mansion further, determined to satisfy my curiosity before wrapping up the case.
