Tristan knew the Dark Tiger Faction was bolstered by the formidable presence of Romulo, the faction leader, and the support of the highest-ranked sorcerer within the tower, Great Sorcerer Phelan. In contrast, the Storm Faction, despite its rapid ascent, still lacked the backing and influence that the top factions—Lightning, Dark Tiger, and to a limited extent, Ice—enjoyed. On the contrary, the Storm Faction's aspiration to reach the top was curtailed at every turn.
