" Can I speak to her family , please?" The doctor finally got out of the theater. His words broke the deadly eye contact between Ryan and his son.
" We're all her family. " Ruth ran to the doctor. " Is she alive?"
The doctor sighed. " Look , when she was brought in , nearly 70% of her body was burnt. She sustained severe injury. Her skin is completely charred and parts of her bones were exposed. "
" Oh my God!" Ruth burst into tears again. Derrick held her and tried to keep her quiet.
" We tried our best but she isn't responding. All we can do now is pray that she responds. " He paused and frowned. "But I won't give you any false hopes. She may not survive this."
" Can we see her?" Gwen held Alec's hand.
" Yes. But she's pretty burnt up. The scene is not exactly pretty. You'll have to wear sterilized clothing and you can't see her for long. "
Ruth rushed in first and the others slowly followed leaving Alec and Gwen behind.
" Don't you want to see her?" She asked.
He took a step forward but changed his mind. " No. I don't think I'll be able to see her like that."
" Alec..." Gwen hugged him.
" I want to stay with the image I have. Her beautiful smile , her hair , her eyes. " Her squeezed Gwen. " I can't lose her. "
" You won't. "
He felt tears glide down his face. He didn't want to cry but he couldn't hold them back anymore. The pain was unbearable. He shuddered and his defences came tumbling down.
All Gwen could do was pat his back and tell him everything was going to be okay. She'd never felt this helpless.

Louis gave a slight shrug. " And now?"

Dwayne smiled even broader. " You're focused. I like that. "
He moved to his table and grabbed a wad of cash which he tossed at Louis. " That's a gift. "

" You'll get the girl in a week or so. "
" But-" He stopped himself when Dwayne shot him a glare.
" Patience is a virtue. " He lit a cigar. " You'll get what's yours. "
" Yes boss. " He clenched his jaw. " Can I atleast see her?"

As he walked to her room , he couldn't stop thinking about what he'd done. He didn't know why he felt like something wasn't sitting right.
He winced when his wound touched the wall. The flames were pretty strong. He'd been burnt.
" What happened?"
His eyes met her starry ones and he smiled. He lowered his sleeve and hugged her.
" It's nothing. "
She lifted his sleeve and observed the wound. She was worried over such a small thing. He liked that someone cared so much.
" It looks pretty bad. Let me get the first aid kit. "
" Don't. " He pulled her back.

" You're free. " He blurted it out and watched her eyes expand.

" Don't cry yet. " Louis cupped her face and kissed her tears. " You'll be out in a week. I tried my best. Don't be angry-"

" You'll have to pay me for this." Louis bit her lower lip.
" Anything you need. " She wiped her tears.

" Then I accept. " She bit his lower lip and her hand slowly slid into his pants. His heart skipped a beat when she grabbed his standing dick. He eyed their surroundings . They were in a corridor and anyone could walk by.
" Someone.... m..might see us!" He spoke in between groans.
