"What the fuck have I gotten myself into?"
Eri was in the kitchen, he had ordered one of the maids to prepare some snacks, and she was about to bring them into Ichiro's room. She was wearing a tight, low-cut dress that showed off her figure. Her long, dark hair was swept up in a messy bun, and she had a smirk on her face.
She opened the door and entered Ichiro's room. Ichiro was lying on the bed, and Takashi was on the floor, looking very uncomfortable and nervous.
Eri frowned, her mischievous feeling completely gone. "Takashi, what's going on?"
"Call your lawyers."
Eri became even more alarmed. "Lawyers? What are you talking about?" Eri questioned, but she subconsciously dialed her lawyer's number.
"Hello, Koji I need you to come to my house right now…. I don't know what's happening, but you must hurry."
"I have called my lawyer; what now?"
"Let's go to another room and talk; I don't want to wake him up." Takashi pointed at Ichiro.
Eri nodded and led Takashi to their living room. Takashi took out his phone and played the audio he just recorded.
Eri blankly stared at the wall, struggling to comprehend what she had just heard. Her stepson had planned to kill her but had instead accidentally killed his father.
Her mind was reeling with shock, fear, and anger.
"Eri, are you fine?"
Suddenly
She heard a voice and looked up to see Takashi standing in the doorway. She realized that if it wasn't for Takashi, she would have likely died. She felt a wave of gratitude wash over her.
Takashi stepped into the room, his eyes full of sorrow and sympathy. He seemed to understand the gravity of the situation and offered her his silent support.
Eri stood and slowly walked towards him. She reached out and grasped his hand in hers, squeezing it tightly. She felt the tears streaming down her face, but her voice was steady when she finally spoke.
"Thank you." she said.
"Thank you for telling me. I know it must have been difficult for you." Takashi returned the embrace and nodded. He stepped back, and she could see the sadness in his eyes, but also the understanding.
Soon Eri's lawyer, Koji, arrived at the house. Takashi told him the whole story and played the voice recording.
Koji called the police, and they immediately went in and arrested Ichiro, who was still sleeping. Ichiro woke up, realized what was going on, and realized how stupid it was to confess murder to a random guy he met hours earlier.
Koji did most of the talking with the police, the police did ask Takashi to give a statement, and he repeated the same story for the third time. They also did take his phone, as it was the most important piece of evidence.
After the police were gone, Koji came over to talk to Takashi. "Takashi, you are a hero, The evidence you have provided us is enough for us to keep him in jail for a very long time. You will have to give a statement in court, but it shouldn't be a problem. You just need to tell what happened today."
Takashi nodded his head.
Eri showed her class as a businesswoman, despite the seriousness of the situation, she quickly regained her composure, and she looked like she was completely fine.
She came over and hugged Takashi again. "Takashi, I cannot express how thankful I am for your help,"
She cupped Takashi's face, kissed his forehead, and looked deeply into his eyes. "From now on, I will take care of you, so you don't need to worry about anything."
Takashi showed a little smile. "I am looking forward to it."
"It's already late, your parents must be worried about you, go home. I need to take care of this mess of a situation."
Takashi grabbed her hands and squeezed them lightly. "Take care of yourself."
Eri's heartbeat sped up. 'I want him, I want to make him mine.'
"Haru." She called the driver.
Haru came over and gave a slight bow.
"Drop off Takashi at his home." She ordered.
Back at the Kato household.
"Aiko, is his phone still switched off?" Ayaka was panicking.
"Yes, I called a few of his friends, and he is not with them." Aiko was also worried.
The two of them were constantly looking at the road, hoping to see him.
"It's already 11 p.m.; should we call the police?" Aiko asked.
As they were panicking, an expensive-looking car stopped outside their house. The driver, dressed in a nice suit, stepped outside the car and opened the back door.
Takashi stepped outside the car and said something to the driver, who bowed down, stepped back inside the car, and drove away.
Aiko and Ayaka immediately rushed outside to meet Takashi.
"Takashi, where were you till now?"
"Who was that guy?"
"Why is your phone switched off?" They begin to pepper him with questions.
"Let's go inside and talk, we don't need to disturb the whole street for no reason." Takashi led them inside and explained everything that happened.
The girls had a lot of questions for him, and he answered all of them with patience. Genji was also there, but he didn't participate in the conversation.
After a lot of explaining and apologizing, they all decided to go to bed.
Genji went to the guest room to sleep.
Aiko gathered her courage and came close to Takashi, whispering in his ears. "Do you want to come to my room again?"
Takashi slid his hands around her waist and squeezed her ass. "Although I would love to do that, I have some other plans for tonight." He said as he leaned in for a kiss.
Aiko panicked Ayaka was standing right there, watching them. Aiko tried to back away, but, he held her tight and kissed her on the lips right in front of Ayaka.
Aiko remembered what he told her this morning. 'I belong to him, I don't need to be embarrassed.'
