Chapter 29 - Lezzhy's Plan

A giant white wooden plank was seen floating in the academy square. No one knows when it appeared there, but it looks like it has been around for a long time.

Just as Sanfort said, 2 hours after the end of the second test, the giant white wooden plank suddenly emitted a dazzling light blue light, causing a slight vibration, before finally producing calligraphy writing that extended downwards.

There, all the names of prospective students who passed were written down, class adjustments have also been distributed to all students according to their individual interests.

Among the 232 prospective students holding bronze tokens, only 180 passed. Even among the failures were the earliest holders of bronze tokens. Luckily, Ron, Alice, George, Lezzhy, Arman, and Despa, got their share among those who passed.

Classes for sword users are divided into 3. They consist of 97 students, of which there is a first class or the highest ranking class which is only filled by 4 students holding gold tokens. The class has 10 seats, which can be filled by lower grade students who have adequate achievements. In the future, they were expected to fill the vacant seats for 12 Best Warriors Asmovius Kingdom's.

The same goes for magic user classes. They have 4 classes, a total of 133 students, of which the first class is only filled with 6 students who own gold tokens.

Lein and George got the same class, namely the fourth or lowest class of magic. Especially Lein, he's the only silver token owner who gets the lowest grade; it was also for the reason that he was the only student of the magic class who didn't possess the basic elements of magic. If it weren't for Sanfort's influence to grant Lein special privileges, perhaps Lein would have been forcibly transferred to the sword class.

As for Ron and Alice, they got the third magic class, joined by the slightly superior bronze token holders.

For Lezzhy, Arman, and Despa, they fall into the third sword class. Lezzhy was actually far superior to Arman and Despa, but considering that the second sword class was only filled by students holding silver tokens, he had to fight harder to get the qualification from that.

Beneath the floating giant white wooden plank, among the many students who had happy expressions, not a few had gloomy and sad expressions, because their names weren't written there. Due to the huge influence of the invasion from the Barbarian Race, those from remote villages had to lose their homes, families and homeland. Of course the Asmovius Magic and Sword Academy became one of the keys to hope for their future. However, seeing that it didn't even provide an opportunity, stirred up even deeper bitterness in their hearts.

In a way, the Asmovius Kingdom didn't need those who were weak. The goal was clear, namely to strengthen the Asmovius Kingdom itself so that it became a Kingdom that was far more influential and could put pressure on other Kingdoms or large races. That naturally benefits the surrounding villages and towns; reducing the possibility of another invasion in the future. With that, of course, they can lead a safer and more peaceful life.

Meanwhile, Lein was currently standing in the crowd with a full smile. They all passed! But, why did he feel happy about it? Did he really think of them as friends? Hadn't he always felt that living alone was the best option? I don't know, one thing is clear, being able to see and meet them longer made Lein feel much better since Anderlecht left.

In a corner not far from him, Lezzhy, Arman, and Despa, who saw Lein standing alone, started having a secret discussion.

"I'll get straight to the point! From now on, we should be on good terms with Andes and be his friend, it would be much better to be his best friend." Lezzhy opened the conversation. After much thought, he began to think that something extraordinary must have happened to the Andes when he fell from that hill. His character has completely changed! The way he saw them was very different from usual; there was no fear whatsoever in his eyes. In fact, he looked at them as if he had met his old relatives. Lezzhy believes that the Andes of today are not the Andes of before.

"But, doesn't he have a grudge with us?" asked Arman with a gloomy expression. He used to be a kid who often hit Andes on the head, so maybe Andes had a special grudge against him. However, Arman was aware that the current Andes were much stronger than him, so even if Andes did the same thing, Arman would not have the courage to fight back. Imagining that this might happen, Arman regrets bullying Andes in the past.

"Arman is right. Even though we believe that Andes has lost his memory, but you know, having us by his side, it can awaken his past memories, so that would actually result in bad things happening to us. I'm sure now, even if the three of us were together, it would still haven't quite beaten the Andes."

Arman nodded in agreement with Despa's explanation. Befriending him is the worst option. Imagine his memory coming back at the time of the great war? Damn it! It's even more Horrible!

"I know, but it can't hurt to try, right? Let's make the kindness far better than our past bad. I don't know the true nature of the Andes, but I'm sure he can't have any worse than we do. Although his memory is back, but with all the kindness we've given him, maybe he'll relent and forgive us."

Lezzhy's explanation made both of them silent in their own thoughts. That's pretty reasonable! Seeing that they were slightly affected by that, Lezzhy didn't delay in giving a follow-up explanation, "We are currently in the Asmovius Kingdom! This place is different from Astrada Village and Desaint Village. Here, we have no connections, family, friends, or anything else! For that, we need a strong figure who can be a support for our survival. At least, no one underestimates our existence. Achieving a peaceful life is not a dream if friends with the Andes."

Lezzhy sure about it. He had already wielded a sword at the age of a toddler, so he was quite familiar with it. He knew how hard it was to control a sword. Not only that, in real combat, a sword user must decide and plan 2-5 steps into the future at the same time. An error in the count means death! That was the reason why someone would prefer to become a magus over a swordsman. Providing support and ranged attacks have a greater chance of survival than melee attackers.

Then, imagine a kid who had only wielded a sword a few months, but already had the ability to fight with one of the best warriors of the Asmovius Kingdom? How big is the future?

One had to know that Sanfort had faced countless battles, so he had excellent experience and swordsmanship. Imagine if Andes got the same treatment as Sanfort, wouldn't he be the most terrible killing machine? Of course, having a connection with him was the best choice!

The two of them could only nod in agreement despite having a hint of disapproval in their hearts. However, they seem to have only that choice.

"Okay, I agree, but how do we start?" asked Despa with a confused expression, followed by Arman.

"Of course greet him first."
