“Is that the boat?” I asked, excitedly bouncing up and down on my feet.
“I think so,” Michael said, smiling at my enthusiasm. “Are you ready to see dolphins again?”
“You know that it’s just about my favorite thing,” I laughed.
Michael leaned down and kissed me softly on the lips. We pulled away as we heard footsteps making their way toward us on the wooden dock.
“My god, is that really you, Michael?” a man’s voice called behind us.
I didn’t recognize the man with dark brown hair, streaked with wisps of gray, walking down the dock toward us. He was holding the hand of a stunning brunette woman in a white sundress. I looked at Michael and noticed the look of recognition in his eyes.
“William Weeks, I can’t believe it’s really you. I haven’t seen you since our days at Harvey together,” Michael said, his face breaking out into a smile.
“Has it really been that long?” William asked, punching Michael on the shoulder.
