"Father, am going now...." announced Lixi to her father.
"But Lixi, you don't even know this man well what if he is just playing with your feelings?"
"Please father, don't even start, what do you know about my feelings? You know nothing. The only reason am here is to tell you goodbye cause am living to start a new life...."
They were at her father's study, far away from the rest. Lixi had come to inform her father that she was living she herself didn't know for how long, or how things were going to be like, but she just wanted to leave so that for once in her life she could just live.
"Lixi for once be considerate, and at least think about us, how will people think when they realise that...."
" Be considerate father? .....how funny..... Very funny because of that am living continue living a selfish life where you will forever continue to think of yourselves and what people think..... Am out of here Mr Wang"
"Lixi I didn't mean that dear!"
"Don't!! you can now say that you only have one daughter the one that looks like you..... At least this black sheep is now out of the Wang family... You should be relieved Mr Wang"
Lixi looked at her father one last time before living. Lijun had been there for too long and he had not rested after his long trip, Lixi could see the tired look he had on his face as he was lying too much and doing staff he was not supposed to.
"You look tired Lijun let's go home so that you can take a rest" said Lixi as she approached Lijun. Lijun looked at her with a lazy smile which was really sincere. "Shawn go get the car ready"
"Honey have you finished saying your goodbyes" asked Lijun standing up.
"Yes we can go" Lixi said while slowly looking at their house. She smiled bitterly as she felt nothing for the mansion. Since her mother died she hated staying there as all the memories became worst than the last. She felt nothing towards those she left behind and towards the big Wang mansion.
Mr Wang gave instructions for the butler to keep Lixi's things in Lijun's car but he was stopped. "Mr Wang let me carry my darlings stuff, I hope will meet in business and also maybe meet to discuss the upcoming wedding..." Lijun let his words trail off while looking at Mr Wang's reactions and it truly didn't disappoint.
"Of course Mr Jiang of course" he said with a laugh.
Lixi looked at her father and nodded her head before going outside and into Lijun's car.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lijun had his fingers on his temples as he laid back on his seat. He was completely exhausted with what was going on and he himself didn't know it was going to stretch this far. He did it for fun and well, a little payback. Shawn looked at his boss through the rear view mirror and winked at him receiving an eye roll from Lijun. Lixi was looking outside the window having no intention of speaking to him, and it looked the same for him too.
Shawn didn't like this he wanted a bit of life in the car.
"Miss Wang, are you excited for you know....." asked Shawn like an excited fan girl. Lixi smiled, a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. "Of course, why not be excited to go and live with the infamous Jiang Lijun" this she said with sarcasm.
Shawn grinned knowing someone was definitely going to comment and the someone though tired did not disappoint. "By the way Miss Wang, who gave you permission to call me by my name and we are not even that close hmm," Shawn smiled, yep at least the car won't be that boring. "Darling come on don't be that mean to your fiancée, since I've become your fiancée I should call you like that, whether we are in public or private so that I don't confuse at times right..... Tiger" she said that with a seductive tone while looking at Lijun seductively and ended up biting her lips.
Lijun looked at her with a bored look before returning to rest his head on the car seat. The car was silent for a few seconds before Lijun said."Never do that, you just cringed me out....." he finished with a "No wonder you're still single" Lixi looked at him as if she was deeply offended and returned back at the window.
Shawn looked at his boss again through the rear view mirror but this time got him already glaring at him. He quickly returned to his driving.
"We will have to sign a sort of contract Miss Wang because am afraid one day you'll just run away and live me to deal with the problem I caused" admitted Lijun shamelessly that he was the cause of their situation.
"Finally you've admitted that it's your fault but you don't need to worry about anything I won't be running away cause I don't have anywhere to go..... A contract won't be necessary"
Lijun wanted to know more of this girl cause he knew there was more to Lixi than everyone knew of but he wanted to know more cause in one day this girl had gotten him interested in her life more than a business deal.
Lijun didn't want to add anything so he kept quiet. During the whole drive it was more than quiet. Lixi realised that Lijun had already fallen asleep. She took a glimpse of him and quickly pretended she hadn't. She had to admit he looked like an archangel when he fell asleep but when he was awake, that was a whole other different story.
"We are here miss" whispered Shawn as he drove through a big gate. Though it was late and darkness had already creeped in, the pathway leading to the mansion was lit up with street lights and it was beautiful. They drove on for about five minutes then the car stopped to a large mansion, Lixi had to admit that theirs was no way in a million years close to this mansion. It was beautiful as some it's walls were made of glass and one could see the beautiful chandelier dangling from outside.
