The coronation ceremony of the king was something that the people of Barlow had been waiting for, they had a tradition of decorating their homes and streets with symbols and flags from the country of Barlow. The people gathered and waited in front of the vast forecourt of the palace to witness up close the oath that the new king would pronounce.
Lots of happy faces full of excitement, laughter and conversation that said they could not wait to see the crown prince Jacob sworn in as king.
The reason people flocked here, even bringing their children, was because the coronation ceremony at Barlow was carried out in a very short time and they did not want to miss this important historical event.
Guards and knights were patrolling, keeping watch around so that no disturbance would occur at this important ceremony.
