Tears flowed through our eyes just thinking about what other lies we were told as kids,
"Just like the lie that lactose intolerant people have digestive disorders when in truth we were the weird ones." Gabriel continued,
"Yeah, we weren't supposed to be able to do it, but we did it anyways until we adapted," I said, tears still flowing.
"Yeah, poor guys suffering so we could eat stuff like cereal and pizza in the modern age!"
"You know people who are lactose intolerant can eat cheese, right?" Eli said,
"How can they eat cheese??" Gabriel asked surprised,
"yeah, that makes no sense! Cheese has lactose in it so how is that possible??"
Eli sighs,
"harder cheese products like Swiss and cheddar are edible because the lactose breaks down from aging,"
A long pause hit the room as we thought about what Eli just said,
"Yet another lie!!" Both I and Gabriel said our hands covering our faces in shame as we cried.
