There she saw trees.
(XD joking)
The she saw Zeno crouching down looking at something on a tree trunk.
At first, she thought she wouldn't say anything to him and just leave. But remembering the first aid box she had to collect, she called him hesitantly.
"Um, Zeno?"
Zeno turned to look at her and furrowed his brows.
"I didn't follow you like a creep if you are thinking about that. I was told by the dialogue box to come here" Natasha explained.
"What did the dialogue box say?" Zeno asked.
"It told me to find the first aid box and come here to search for the exit"
"Do you know how to find the exit?"
"It said that there is a twisted tree with a hole. The hole is the exit"
"A twisted tree with a hole? That's a weird description"
"I thought so too. But who cares. What I need iss the exit, not the description"
"You are talking wisely for the first time since I have met you"
"Hey!"
"I'm not HEY, my name is Zeno. You already know it"
Natasha huffs in irritation as Zeno teases her.
"Let's talk less and look for the twisted tree. I want to get out of here as soon as possible"
"I don't want to stay here either"
Natasha and Zeno start looking for the tree together. Natasha kept stealing glances at Zeno from time to time. Zeno noticed but said nothing. He knew Natasha was worried about his wounds, but he didn't want any trouble.
Zeno looked elsewhere and found the tree they were looking for.
"Hey," Zeno called.
"..."
"Hey!"
"..." Zeno called Natasha twice but got no reply. He turned around to call her again but saw her standing there looking at him with her hand crossed.
"What? Why are you staring at me like that?"
"Because you called me Hey"
Zeno rolled his eyes.
"DO NOT ROLL YOUR EYES ON ME ZENO!!" Natasha screamed.
Zeno smirked and said "Or what?"
Natasha huffed while stomping her feet and flailing her hands.
"Now stop throwing tantrum and listen kid"
"I'm not a kid!"
"You sure behave like one" Zeno kept teasing her. Then he suddenly got serious.
"Look girl, there's the tree. The exit you were talking about"
"Where?" Natasha looked at the direction Zeno pointed. She saw the twisted tree with a hole.
"Then what are we waiting for!! Let' leave this damned place!"
"I was calling you but you were behaving like a spoiled child" Zeno said his piece and walked towards the tree.
Natasha kept quiet and followed behind him. They went towards the tree but couldn't get close to it after reaching 2 metres distance.
The tree looked like a normal tree, a little weird looking but a normal tree none the less. But when they reached 2 metre near it that they realised it was not normal. The tree was somewhat alien type. Its branches and vines were creeping towards them. But there was some kind of invisible barrier that stopped those vines and branches.
The branches tried to attack them, but was stopped by the barrier. And they couldn't enter the barrier either.
"What should we do now?" Natasha looked at Zeno.
Zeno was looking at the tree and concentrating on it's movements. Hearing Natasha, he shrugged his shoulders. He didn't know what could be done in this matter either.
Natasha was startled hearing the voice again and flinched. Zeno looked at her questioningly. Natasha said "Did you not hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"The voice?"
"What voice?" Zeno frowned at Natasha.
"The voice that said we need to do something to make the tree drop the barrier!"
"Where did you hear that from? There is no one else here but us. I didn't talk, you didn't talk. Did a ghost say something? " Zeno said sarcastically while sneering.
"But I'm sure I heard a voice! It was the same one that said the twisted tree with a hole is the exit!"
"So a voice told you the twisted tree with a hole is the exit and you believed it and came here?"
"Yeah...? Why did you come here then?"
"I came here because the dialogue box said there are some clues in this park forest regarding the exit" Zeno said.
