Ramla successfully pulled off the upper part of his clothing and she blushed a bit as she looked down at his muscular chest.
Cairo managed to get the water next to her bed and gulped it down before falling back to the bed covering his face with the back of his palm.
"You look amazing, Cairo." She commented as she ran her hands down his chest.
It didn't move Cairo one bit but he remained there trying to compose himself. As Ramla's hands trailed down to his waist, he grabbed her hands and flipped her over.
He pinned her down to the bed and she looked at him with a shocked expression and he looked at her with a raised brow.
"What are you doing?" He asked as his grip around her wrist tightened making her wince.
"Not… nothing." She winced in pain.
"I only get touched by the people I want to touch, which is definitely not you trying to take advantage of me when I'm drunk." Cairo shook his head in disgust.
"It's not what you think." Ramla gasped in pain again as his grip tightened, and she was sure it would leave a mark.
"Then it's what? Well since it's not…" Cairo let go of her and got off the bed, wearing his clothes as Ramla examined her already red and marked wrists. "I'll ask Lady Kissa what it means."
As Cairo stood up, Ramla looked at him with disbelief making her jump down the bed and fall on her knees.
"Please Cairo, don't tell Lady Kissa. She will definitely tell Pharaoh and I will lose my job." Ramla pleaded but Cairo didn't say anything, he just walked out of the room.
Cairo walked down the passageway as he adjusted his hair. He expected worse from this trip but not this worse.
The same eagle from earlier flew in and landed on his shoulders. "Hey." He patted its head before removing the scroll behind it.
"We are waiting for you, your highness."
Cairo rolled his eyes as he waved at the eagle who flew away. "Is it that easy?"
Cairo entered his room and picked his bag of money which he wore around his waist and picked his bow and arrows before jumping out through the window.
Cairo managed to slip out of the palace unnoticed as he walked down to the village. His cloak was covering his head as he proceeded down to River Nile.
As soon as he got to the river, he settled there and started arranging his arrows in his arrow bag till he heard a splash.
"Took you long enough." He said not looking up.at the individual in the water.
"Not a way to talk to me Cairo. You know I have other things to do." She replied as she jumped to the nearest rock and sat there with her tail in the water.
Cairo looked up at her silver tail which was shining under the moonlight. "It'll be a better idea if you stayed in the water."
"It is none of your business Cairo." She hissed as she placed her tail on land and it turned into legs. "So why are you here?"
"I was drugged." He replied as he continued arranging his arrows.
"You can't be kidding me." She laughed.
"Seriously. Kissa's maid, Ramla drugged me to take advantage of me." Cairo looked up at her with a frown. "And it makes me want to leave here as quickly as possible."
"You know you can't leave until you can kidnap Kissa without her outsmarting you."
"She can't outsmart me. It's just that I underestimated her because she's a lady." Cairo growled and she laughed.
"Well since they've sent a message to you, Cairo, you have to take Kissa and go."
"But she won't…"
"Well you're underestimating what she can do again." She replied before jumping into the water.
Cairo looked at the place she jumped to in disbelief. He didn't see that as underestimating her at all.
Cairo walked around the village for about an hour before he returned to the palace.
Kissa was sitting in her room, reading a scroll about the past sorceress when Lapis stepped in, distracting her.
"Lady Kissa, we have an unexpected arrival this evening and Pharaoh asked for your presence at the main entrance of the palace in ten minutes." Lapis informed Kissa and she looked up at her with a raised brow.
"Pharaoh's sister, Lady Zahra arrived and would be arriving in the palace in ten minutes." Lapis sighed as she had no other choice but to tell her because she knew Kissa wouldn't rush herself for the reason she doesn't know.
"Alright. Sabola, please arrange my dress." Kissa sighed as she climbed off her bed to change her dress.
Cairo, who had seen Zahra's carriage arrive, rushed to the palace to get a good view of things. Immediately he got to his room, he changed into his guard outfit and quickly rushed to Kissa's quarters.
Luckily, she was just walking out of her room when he arrived. She looked at him as she facepalms before dismissing the other guards.
"I thought it was your night off Cairo. What are you doing here again?" Kissa asked as they walked down the long hallway leading to the main entrance.
Cairo didn't say a word which she expected and they all got to the main entrance just as Zahra's carriage stopped.
A young lady in her early twenties was helped out of the carriage and she looked up at her brother pridefully. One could easily tell they were siblings because she looked so much like him from her long black hair to her hazel eyes.
"Brother." She fell on her knees and bowed her head in respect.
"Greetings to you too Zahra." Asim smiled as he helped his sister up.
"You haven't changed a bit brother. You still look the same." Zahra complimented.
"Handsome and aura filled with victory. Yes I know sister." Asim laughed.
Kissa sneered as she heard what he said and that was the moment Zahra turned to face her.
"Ohh so you're still keeping this brat. Interesting."
