Fuck it. I place the bottle on the side table and look up at the ceiling. "Say a girl kissed you—"
"Damn. I didn't think we were actually talking about girls." Gael sits forward, his expression eager. "Go on. Who's the chick?"
"I'm not telling you." I give him a pointed look. "So this girl kisses you, and then… she just leaves."
Gael blinks. Once. Twice. "Wait that's it?"
He draws his brows together when I don't answer, adding, "She just kisses you and then leaves?"
"That's what I'm saying!" I swat my hand in the air, annoyed. "Who the hell does that?"
He gives me a weird look and then bursts out laughing, making me want to kick his teeth in. "Dude. You're mad about a girl who kissed you and then doesn't ask to be taken out for a date or be brought up to your room? I don't see the problem here."
