"So, where to?" I ease off the club's parking lot and onto the road, slowing down as I wait for her to tell me where she's heading. I'm guessing there aren't many options, given it's already after three in the morning. The sky is dark and thankfully, there's not much traffic on the roads. It's a little cold outside though, so I turn up the heating in the car.
"I need to buy some medicine, so…wherever the nearest pharmacy is, please. Oh!" Malia points to the left when we reach the intersection. "Turn here. There's one there."
I make the turn and immediately, we see the closed sign at the door of the pharmacy. The other stores next to it are all closed save for the mini-mart, which I'm pretty sure doesn't have what she needs to buy. Lia deflates and goes quiet for a moment.
"Do you know another?" I ask, ready to hit the streets again.
