Chapter 38 - Wicked

I shall pierce my sword through the skull of Archimedes! proclaimed Darticus. I ride to the mountains and kill him on my own, he said as he went looking for his horse. Do not make hasty decisions, warned Angela. No, the time has come for me to put an end. Ever since he has come to our planet, I have had sleepless nights, he said to her as he hurriedly approached his horse. I'm afraid you will not live this fight, she said. I do not care Hana, he said in fury. I'm not Hana, said Angela. I'm sorry, he said to her and got on his horse and rode to the mountains.

These mountains again, said Darticus growing increasingly wary of the edges. Every time I come, these places get more daunting, he smirked. He rode further up the hills and finally reached the Marakese inhabitation. The places were all all burnt up and in tethered pieces. That did not stop his anger nor his enmity towards their people. He thirsted the blood of Archimedes. He passed by the gates that were not long ago guarded by Demarius. He went in and stood in the middle of the township. "What do you want?" asked a voice from above. It was Zeno. Where is Archimedes? asked Darticus as he got down from his horse. He had an axe in one hand and the other his sword. I do not know where he is, replied Zeno. Darticus threw a evil laughter much reminiscent towards his brother, Atticus. If he does not come in a minute, the axe will take the head away from your body. What did you say! said a voice belonging to a lady. She came charging towards him with her sword and tried to poke it through Darticus. Darticus hit her face with the non threating edge of the axe and threw her to the ground. Hana lay there on the ground as she spewed blood. "Coward!" she shouted. The wrath of Darticus was unleashed. "I'm going to chop your head down" he said to her and ran towards her. Enough! shouted Zeno as the moon had begun to show itself. He transformed into the beast and pinned Darticus to the ground. Run! he shouted to Hana who ran away. Darticus caught hold of the throat of the beast and threw him to the side. The beast howled in anger and came charging towards him. Again the strength of Darticus was too much for the beast Zeno to handle. He was repeatedly thrown to the sides. He was badly hurt. Bring me the immortal! he shouted to the beast. He ran towards the beast Zeno and choked him to death.

"There was lightning and thunder all around" The grasp of Darticus weakened and he had an evil smile on him that even scared the wits of the beast. He turned back to see Archimedes approach him as lightning hit the ground repeatedly. Run away, Uncle Zeno, said Archimedes as his eyes turned blue like ice. The beast ran away to safety. Time to die! said Darticus as he threw his axe at Archimedes. Archimedes dodged it and ran at Darticus with his sword. They were engaged in sword combat as the thunder and rain poured. Archimedes made a mistake and Darticus had the opportunity to kick him. He kicked him so hard that Archimedes went flying and hit the rocks of the mountains. The Mountains trembled. Darticus went and grabbed his axe and threw it again at the head of Archimedes. Archimedes dodged it at the last minute and stood up and again went in for combat with his sword against the brute. This time , the sword skinned the face of Darticus drawing blood. Darticus spat the blood on Archimedes and ran towards the axe. This time again he caught the axe and threw it at Archimedes, yet again. Archimedes yet again dodged it and lifted his sword up in the air, as lightning caught the tip of the sword. Darticus charged at him with all his might and their swords clashed, the sound eclipsing even that of the thunder that rang all around the hills. He pressed hard against the sword of Archimedes pinning him. He pushed Archimedes on the ground and ran for his axe as he dropped his sword. This time he caught the axe with his hands and ran at Archimedes. Archimedes met the axe with his sword but his sword was no match for the axe. It simply overpowered his sword and it fell on the grounds. He looked at the skies as Darticus threw his axe at him yet again. He dodged it yet again the lightning stroke this time. He ran towards his sword, archimedes and broke the top of it. Only the handle remained. the knife was gone. He raised his sword and lightning stroke. The knife was now replaced by lightning itself. The blades were now blue and cold, they were lightning itself. They buzzed like current flowing in and out of itself. Darticus caught hold of his axe and charged at Archimedes. This time his axe met the lighting sword of Archimedes. The lightning sword deemed too powerful for the axe as the axe fell on the ground. Darticus went to pick up the axe again and by the time he could pick the axe up, the blades of lightning pierced through his back and came out from the front." The king was dead" He lay on the ground without any life in his body. As the strongman now came towards them. Archimedes commanded." Bury him", bury him like you would a king!
