"Seriously?! Monica Anderson asked Moira Anderson angrily while glaring at her.
"Monica, If I didn't have so much love for you then I wouldn't have brought you Into this world...Your Father, James Anderson was told by his Doctor that he couldn't Father a child...He tried different treatments from different Doctors but all to no avail and Alas! He gave up on having a child...But one faithful night...We met and the following week I found out that I was pregnant but I wasn't so sure so I went to your father's Doctor and I told him that I think I'm pregnant for my husband...That Doctor laughed at me and told me that James Anderson can never father a child but I was stubborn...I didn't give up hope that I might actually become a mother so I asked that Doctor to conduct a pregnancy test...He was reluctant but after coming to him and telling him about conducting the pregnancy test for three weeks, He finally agreed to conduct the test. That Doctor conducted the pregnancy test and asked me to come two days later. I got home that day and I was scared, anxious, and excited at the same time. Two days later, I came back and that Doctor told me the news about your pregnancy...It was good news to me but your father thought I had cheated on him so he didn't accept the news of your pregnancy and he asked me to get rid of your pregnancy or he would divorce me...I fell In love with the way you always kick and cause me pain in my tummy so I told your father to go to hell and I signed the divorce papers...I used the money I got from the divorce to take care of both of us during my pregnancy until the time came for me to give birth...I remember screaming out my lungs as I tried to bring you Into this world...The Doctors and nurses had already given up on me but I struggled hard to bring you Into this world and that alone shocked the Doctors and nurses...When you were brought to my arms by the nurses...My joy knew no bounds and I named you "MONICA," The same name my beloved twin sister was called till her untimely death. I was so happy that you came Into this world safe but I had no idea of what to do...I was young and your father was nowhere to be found. I didn't want you to be a bastard so I took It upon myself to go to your father and demand he conducts a DNA Test...He laughed at It but agreed to do It since I was Insisting. We conducted the DNA Test and your father was shocked when the Doctor told him that he was Indeed the father of my child which happen to be you...He apologized to me and begged me to come back to him which I agreed on but ever since then I have loved you In the way I could but It's so painful to me that I'm unable to express that massive love I have for you to you as a mother should...It breaks my heart." Moira Anderson painstakingly explained to Monica Anderson before turning towards her.
"What a touching story but how am I sure that you aren't making this story up??." Monica Anderson asked Moira Anderson while looking at her inquisitively.
"Seriously?! Why would you ask me such a despicable question?? Can't you see that I'm being sincere here??." Moira Anderson asked Monica Anderson emotionally while staring at her In disbelief.
"How am I supposed to believe you??! If the story you just told me Is true then why were you emotionally unavailable?? Why??." Monica Anderson asked Moira Anderson emotionally.
"What did you just say??." Moira Anderson asked Monica Anderson softly.
"I said Why were you emotionally unavailable towards me throughout my 17 years of existence?? Why?!!!" Monica Anderson asked Moira Anderson angrily while sobbing and hitting her on the chest.
"It's not true! I loved you throughout your 17 years of existence but I just didn't do it up to your expectation...I know sometimes I act cold towards you but deep down I love you...Do you know how scared I was when I was knocking and you weren't answering me??." Moira Anderson replied Monica Anderson emotionally while looking at her inquisitively.
"Why should I care??!!" Monica Anderson asked Moira Anderson angrily while sobbing hard and hitting her on the chest with both hands.
"What Is going on here??." A male voice echoed loudly In the room.
"Dad!!" Monica Anderson called out In shock while trembling In fear and hiding behind Moira Anderson.
"James!!" Moira Anderson called out to the owner of the loud voice while smiling awkwardly at him.
"I said what's going on here??." President James Anderson asked out angrily while glaring at the trembling Monica.
"It's nothing serious...I and Monica were having a Mother-Daughter talk." Moira Anderson sweetly replied President James Anderson In a stuttering tone.
"Hmph! I was at the Oval Office waiting for you for almost an hour but you didn't show up so I came to check what was taking you so long In waking our daughter up." President James Anderson said to Moira Anderson sternly while glaring at her.
"(Sighs!!!) Well, I woke her up but she was so heartbroken and I couldn't just turn a blind eye and walk away so I decided to confess to her what I have been keeping to myself all these years." Moira Anderson said to President James Anderson warmly while sighing heavily.
"Oh! Whatever! Young lady you have to go and get ready for school and I mean right now!!" President James replied Moira Anderson warmly while ordering Monica Anderson to go and get ready for school.
"Honey, I don't think she should leave this room without getting an apology from you." Moira Anderson said to President James Anderson warmly while looking at him Intently.
"Apology?!" President James Anderson asked Moira Anderson In shock while staring at her In disbelief.
"Yes, Apology!!' Moira Anderson replied President James Anderson warmly while nodding her head.
"Why do I have to apologize to her when I didn't do anything wrong to her??." President James Anderson asked Moira Anderson while staring at her In a confused manner.
"You did something wrong to her!! We both did!!" Moira Anderson replied President James Anderson while staring at him Intently.
"What did we do to her because I can't remember wronging her at all In any way...I'm confused." President James Anderson said to Moira Anderson while raising his eyebrows and looking at her Inquisitively.
"(Sighs!!!) We didn't show any ounce of affection to her as her parents...We made her to be this miserable and heartbroken." Moira Anderson replied President James Anderson emotionally while sighing heavily.
"I...I didn't know she was heartbroken...I didn't know." President James Anderson said out sadly with his lips trembling.
"How would you know when you and mom are busy playing politics??" Monica Anderson asked President James Anderson while shedding tears.
"Oh, My Baby!! Please don't cry...Daddy didn't know you were heartbroken all these while." President James Anderson said to Monica Anderson In a Somber voice while hugging her.
"Daddy and Mummy are sorry...Please forgive us...Can you do that?? Can you forgive Daddy and Mummy?? We promise to start showing you affection and spending time with you...We Promise to start doing all those things you always write on your bucket list with you...We promise...Please forgive your Daddy and Mummy." President James Anderson said to Monica Anderson emotionally while patting her back softly.
"I wish I could but.....," Monica Anderson softly replied President James Anderson with a pause.
"But what, Darling?" President James Anderson asked Monica Anderson sadly while looking at her with a somber facial expression.
"My heart has forgotten what It means to forgive because of the wall that Is guarding It." Monica Anderson replied President James Anderson softly.
"What do you mean by that, Honey?" President James Anderson and Moira Anderson asked Monica Anderson softly while looking at her Inquisitively.
"It simply means that both of you are too late." Monica Anderson replied President James Anderson and Moira Anderson softly while smacking her lips and detaching herself from President James Anderson's hug.
"Monica...We know that.....,"
"I don't want to hear one more word from the both of you!! Get out!!" Monica Anderson yelled at President James Anderson and Moira Anderson angrily, Interrupting them from saying what they wanted to say.
"Monica........."
"Get out of my sight!!!" Monica Anderson screamed loudly, Preventing President James and Moira Anderson from saying what they wanted to say.
