EVA'S POV
I knew I made the right choice to drop at Jake's office and tell him to cut the crap because none of those things are working, I can't afford to loose Sam.
No way! Never!!
I threw my handbag on his desk and fell into the armchair that awaits his clients, he sat perplexed on his chair and raised a brow.
"Jake, am tired! I hate this, I just don't think it's a good idea, after all. Wouldn't it have been nicer if we were really divorced than all this..." I trailed off and threw my hands up in confusion.
"What happened?" Jake asked adjusting his neck tie and shifting his spectacles to the tip of his nose in attempt to take a closer look at me.
He looked worried. Jake is that bookworm kinda guy and it's no wonder that he wears specks but that's only in the confines of his office, not just anywhere and not every time.
