Alex looked around the area and noticed that Gunther who was welcoming him was positioned in a way that made him the closest to the fire exit. Alex then noticed that the formation of the third-year students was quite peculiar.
'It seems this guy plans to use a battle of attrition, and if he fails I guess he already has an escape plan placed.'
They were scattered, with groups of students forming smaller clusters around the edges. It wasn't a direct assault formation this was more about defense, forcing the battle to stretch out. If the situation grew dire, Gunther would have his path to escape clear.
'Well, it doesn't matter except for Gunther himself the others aren't that much of a threat.'
