Ken approached Oliver and congratulated him, the next thing he did shocked everyone in the gymnasium. Ken actually asked Oliver to be one of his disciples. Oliver couldn't respond to Ken's sudden proposal so for now Ken gave him his number. Oliver who got Ken's number had a torrent of thoughts assaulting him.
Ken then approached Alex and slashed at Alex using his fingers. Alex who had determined that the slash wouldn't hit didn't move at all, his emotionless, indifferent eyes looked at Ken without worry or fear. The slash using just his fingers was able to cut a bit of Alex's skin.
"... Old man I don't know who you are, but hurting a student is a no-go."
Alisa got in between Alex and Ken, she pushed Ken's hand away. Alisa who was known as the nation's sweetheart was glaring at Ken.
"Hahaha, you actually got such a firecracker over here... Hmm, it's obvious she doesn't have any training in any kind of martial art, but she has the potential a diamond in the rough. Heh, this place truly is a hidden gold mine."
Ken assessed Alisa with one look at her and a smile appeared on his face as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Lass if you wish to learn the way of the sword I'm always available. Now if you can how about you also convince your boyfriend over here to forsake his lousy master and come and jo-"
Ken wasn't able to finish his sentence when he felt something pointing at his neck. A subtle and sharp killing intent was directed at him. Ken already knew who was doing this, the boy's indifferent tone drifted to his ears.
"Never insult my Master again, or else I will have your head."
Though Alex's face had the same emotionless look, a fiery anger could be felt from deep within. Alex grew up surrounded by his masters and all of them treated him like their own flesh and blood, they were family. So the moment he heard someone insult his family Alex immediately acted, if it weren't for the mission at hand he would've killed Ken at this very moment.
Everyone else who was looking at Alex, and Ken thought they were having a little joke. They couldn't discern the threat that came from Alex's hand that was pointing at the back of Ken's neck.
Ken like a ghost, got away from Alex's hand and stood beside his disciple Setsuna with his hands raised. Even though he was already far away from Alex, Ken felt that even at this distance he was within Alex's killing range.
"A gun user, as well?" Ken whispered under his breath.
"I was just kidding, your master and me go way back. He and I joke like this all the time. So no need to take what I said seriously." After Ken said that he walked out of the gymnasium followed by the other members of the Hillman Kendo team.
Once Alex couldn't see Ken's back he relaxed his body a bit, still staring in the direction Ken and the others went.
Alisa who was at the side noticed a change in Alex's demeanor. She might have only known him for a few days but she has been observing him for a while now and this was the first time his stoic demeanor showed a crack.
Alisa was so surprised by what she saw that she had no words to say. She could never imagine Alex showing such an expression no matter how briefly. After that brief moment of shock on her part, Alisa nodded her head grabbed hold of Alex's arms, and told the members of the Mercenary Circle.
"How about we celebrate the completion of our first mission as the mercenary circle."
When Rachel saw what Alisa did he frowned for a second but that frown immediately disappeared and instead she sighed. In that single second Rachel went through a lot that only she knows.
"Wait can I join in as well, or is this just a Mercenary Circle thing?"
"Of course, you can join everyone can join!"
Throughout this whole ordeal, Lyner the teacher in charge of the kendo club slept. It was as if he could sleep through anything. All the students left and he was still there snoring.

When Alex and the others were about to leave the school, Alisa's manager came to talk to her.
"Alisa we don't know if paparazzi would come and mess with you. At least allow me to accompany you."
"I'm just going out with some friends, I don't need a babysitter."
"Did you forget what happened last time you went out by yourself?"
"...No, but I'm not by myself I'll be with my friends."
"Alisa, did you forget about the other incident as well?"
"Can't you do the same thing that you did when I transferred to this school? I've been here for a few days now but not a single cameraman. Even the students haven't so much as posted a single thing about me on social media."
"Alisa I nor the company have done anything to stop any of those from happening."
When Alisa heard her manager's answer she was quite surprised.
"Then how come there's nothing about me going to this school? I thought that you've somehow blocked the news."
"... I think I know what happened here. I did a little research about this school and the two young men who helped you before that are now your friends. I learned that this school has Evangeline Kain attending it."
"Evangeline Kain as in the youngest daughter of the Kain family one of the richest families in the country?"
"Yes, the blocking of information of any students in this school might have something to do with her and the other important students in this school."

"... Fine I'll do it as well, but you better call them after you have fun with your friends."
