To do so, they started to make arrays and traps all around that safe route. They laid these for tens of kilometres, and didn't hold back in using everything they had.
They made sure to not alarm the forces stationed in the safe route leading the runners away from here. They didn't know if there was a way to communicate between this force and the dark leaders away from here. And luckily they didn't expose themselves or else the entire plan would be screwed.
