"That world… It lost its ability to use their spirit bodies…" he realised this was the effect of a curse, a seal over their spirits. But now he started to realise that such a thing came originally from the nine tailed fox, not just a mere coincidence or an act of nature or something.
As he realised this, he felt how important what he was doing here. He was positive that lots of things were going to change after all this got repaired. But there was a tiny detail that he overlooked or didn't put in his mind, something that changed everything.
