William knew not everything in the world could be detected using spirit sense. And from the look of it, it seemed like there was a toxin spreading in the air, lining up the region here and preventing anyone from escaping.
"If that's the case… Then where will be the right path out?" William got more puzzled when he thought about all of this.
If it was some sort of nasty toxin, then it was safe to assume that it spread all over the region, tightly surrounding it, suffocating all the masters inside.
William stood in his place for hours, checking the entire region using his spirit sense. Aside from the domed academy, the weird thing he found before, the city and his guild forces who stood motionless all this time, there was nothing worthy of mention except for tons of dark masters.
The Nightmare monster was cruel and didn't spare a single one of them from this hallucination. They stood the same as the normal masters, not moving a muscle for a long time.
