Kyoto stood on top of his summon as he swerved right into the scene of carnage.
The atmosphere felt chilly due to the frost that had completely frozen over the lake.
As Kyoto and his summon slowly drifted through the air, Kyoto noticed a wilting chakra flame to the left.
Turning his head swiftly, Kyoto saw two things.
A corpse and blood.
Kyoto then realized that the corpse was alive but dying fast.
Some light pants were audible.
Kyoto cursed bitterly.
"I don't know any medical ninjutsu."
Kyoto inspected the shinobi before him.
It was a boy, most likely but the body had quite a girl-ish face with smooth pale skin and a thin constitution.
There was messy black hair that reached the boy's shoulders and the boy looked no older than 15.
So around Kyoto's age.
Kyoto touched the body.
It felt cold, but there were tinges of warmth.
Kyoto looked around and realized that the person before him was probably the perpetrator.
"Yuki clan..."
Kyoto defined his attributes and credited the dying person before him to be part of the Yuki clan.
He had most likely been hunted due to his heritage and had defended himself.
It was just a guess, however.
Kyoto decided it would be best to find a practitioner of medical ninjutsu. There would probably be one nearby.
At least Kyoto hoped so.
Plopping the bloody body onto the plump whale, Kyoto lay it down carefully before hopping on himself.
Kyoto checked his map and realized that soon, they would reach the borders between the land of fire and the land of grass. There, he could probably find a healer.
"Alright."
Kyoto tucked himself into the whale before relaxing.
It would be at least a few hours until they reached the land of grass. The whale drifted at around 30-50mph when it felt like it.
The sun finally faded away. There was still warmth in the air but it was becoming scarcer.
It would seem that the land of fire was being left behind.
Kyoto looked at the unconscious body by his side, the chakra flame was wavering but clearly showing signs of life.
' Good. ' Kyoto breathed out a sigh of relief.
Soon, an entire sea of grass came into Kyoto's view under the black sky of the night.
Kyoto could only assume this was the edge of the land of grass because a clear line had been placed.
The grass was far wilder in front of Kyoto than behind him.
Kyoto shut his eyes, after checking the map he realized it would still be another hour at least before they reached the Kusagakure. (Village hidden in the grass.)
A while passed and it seemed that the air had gotten more humid but it still retained a certain level of warmth.
Kyoto's eyesight was blurry.
After rubbing his eyes, Kyoto noticed multiple buildings and sights before him.
The village hidden in the grass was ahead.
Kyoto attempted to tell the whale that it could go through his mind but found that it didn't really work.
Kyoto decided to just leave it in the air, he could easily just summon it to his position if he ever needed it.
Taking the body of the teenage boy in his hands, Kyoto found his clean hands swiftly tainted by a murky red liquid.
Realizing the concern that was sprouting from himself, Kyoto launched himself downwards, using the whale as a platform.
As Kyoto was falling he realized he had nothing to use to lessen the momentum.
Kyoto whistled as loud as he could, sticking two fingers in his mouth.
A high-pitched noise rang out in the night.
Kyoto watched as the ground seemed to approach him rapidly and thoughts his legs were going to break.
Miraculously, the whale swooped in at the last moment, cushioning his fall.
Kyoto stepped down and patted the whale on its stomach twice.
"Good job."
The whale drifted into the air, seemingly tired.
Kyoto with the body in hand ran around, searching for a hospital.
All the buildings were dull and had greyed paint.
The entire village seemed to be asleep.
It was only when Kyoto turned a corner that his eyes darkened for the first time in a while.
Although the man before him did not know his name, Kyoto knew heaps and bounds of the man.
"Orochimaru."
Instincts cursed Kyoto as he accidentally let his emotions get the better of him.
Orochimaru who had just turned the corner looked surprised that someone knew his name.
Since it was late, he had assumed his normal form and had dressed himself in an entirely black gown.
His long greasy hair disturbed Kyoto.
Kyoto looked to the right of Orochimaru.
Orochimaru was holding the hand of a seemingly innocent child.
Kyoto ignored all the bad that Orochimaru did and held his tongue. Although Orochimaru was a monster at this point, he had his uses.
Orochimaru knew medical ninjutsu.
Orochimaru who was originally surprised licked his lips in satisfaction upon reviewing the specimen before him.
"An Uchiha..."
Kyoto could not hear Orochimaru's whispers as he was formulating his own plan in his mind.
Orochimaru's slit-like eyes darted to the body Kyoto was holding.
He whispered once again, it sounded like a hiss.
"And a Yuki too."
Orochimaru's uncanny tongue slithered in his mouth.
"What a catch."
Kyoto couldn't decide what to do, but Orochimaru gave him only one option.
To dodge.
Orochimaru's neck extended peculiarly whilst his mouth gaped open revealing two fangs.
His head boosted forwards at a rapid speed and tried to bite either Kyoto or the Yuki Clan Member.
Kyoto who had expected such a scenario in the very back of his mind dashed backward using the lightning step by instinct.
His lightning-boosted figure was far too agile for Orochimaru to catch with a mere neck attack.
Still, Orochimaru slid his neck back into his body.
Kyoto was extremely on edge now, already preparing a fire-style jutsu.
Orochimaru, realizing he had missed his first attack instantly started doing hand signs, just a bit faster than Kyoto which made up for his lateness.
Upon realizing what jutsu Kyoto was aiming for, Orochimaru changed his own.
Kyoto breathed in heavily, putting in a huge influx of chakra to hopefully incinerate Orochimaru in one go.
"Fire style: Lesser Fire Annihilation."
Kyoto used his weakened version of Madara's Great Fire Annihilation, if he used the real deal the attack would probably engulf the entire village.
Lesser Fire Annihilation focused more on power than size.
Kyoto roared out his jutsu, and a huge influx of beastly flames tightened and blasted out from his mouth.
They powered down the entire street and threatened to devour Orochimaru and the child next to him.
Orochimaru was unbothered by the wild yellow hue that had arisen in his surroundings and of the huge increase in temperature that had surfaced.
Orochimaru released his counter-Jutsu.
"Wind Style: Great Breach."
A huge and compact gale of wind controlled masterfully temporarily blew the flames back before the flames gradually subsided.
If Kyoto continued his attack, he might've accidentally burned some houses.
Noticing where this battle was going, Kyoto used his lightning steps to get away from the nearby property.
Kyoto was still carrying the Yuki-Clan member.
As Kyoto found himself on the outskirts of the village hidden in the grass, he thought he was alone.
Yeah-. No.
A huge choir of hisses came from his right.
A sea of dark-green-scaled snakes burst out from Orochimaru.
Orochimaru's signature hidden shadow snake hands dawned upon him.
Kyoto didn't bother running as he would probably just end up having to fight the same attack.
Putting a mediocre amount of chakra into his left eye, Kyoto put in just enough chakra to eliminate the attack before him.
Kyoto's eyes swirled into mangekyou. They now possessed mangekyou shaped like compass stars.
"Dosojin."
The sound of a weeping dragon emerged.
A deathly black light engulfed all the snakes which hissed and bit and snapped at Kyoto.
Soon, their chakra forms cracked and they all stumbled into the ground before melting into the dirt.
Kyoto rushed towards Orochimaru before he could finish another jutsu.
Holding the Yuki Clan member like a rugby-ball Kyoto used his right hand to form an attack.
"Chidori."
Kyoto's momentum picked him up and essentially pulled him towards Orochimaru.
The chidori boosted Kyoto forwards faster than his mind could keep up.
The high-pitched shrieks of the chidori sounded.
Kyoto pulled his right arm back and as time allowed it, he pierced through Orochimaru.
No blood spurted out, just mud.
Mud. Mud. Mud.
Orochimaru's entire figure deformed into a stream of mud that was swiftly soaked into the dirt.
Kyoto realized that someone was standing on top of the building above him.
The real Orochimaru and by his side was the child from earlier.
His eyes were purely white under the black night.
"What do you want? Orochimaru."
Kyoto's voice was disgusted that he had to even barter with Orochimaru. He might've wiped Orochimaru off the map if not for the Yuki clan member in his arms and the help that Orochimaru would bring. Such as bringing back many Hokage as Edo.
Orochimaru grinned in the night.
"Your eyes. They're different from normal sharingan. I want them."
Kyoto spat on the ground.
"Well, they're off limits."
Orochimaru looked down coldly.
"We'll see about that."
Kyoto coughed blatantly.
"I need you to heal this body. If you do, I shall owe you a favor."
Orochimaru's figure bent over. He could heal the body in less than a second if he really felt like it.
"And why would I want a favor? I could just eliminate you right now and then heal the body."
Kyoto let out a heavy breath.
"Because I know everything about you."
"Yashagoro."
