Ever so slowly Lara crept towards the flag while Alan was crouched behind it waiting for the opportune moment to try and strike. "Perhaps I'll let her get the flag and once she's walking away then I'll attack and hit her from behind, granted it's not the most worthy attack but if you can win in a battle by any means necessary then you should". Closer and closer Lara stepped until finally she grabbed the flag "That was to easy…" she thought to herself stopping to turn back around "If I recall Alan said his semblance was manipulating light to hide from his opponents sight".
"If that's the case" Lara raised her bow high into the air pulling the drawstring back as multiple dust arrows appeared rapidly being fired into the air "Let's see if you're hiding Alan" she called out as he watched them all soar up into the sky before descending down towards him. "Well crap I have to attack now" strapping Dorgan Strike on he lunged towards her slamming the butt of his tonfa into her stomach as the wind was knocked from Lara who staggered back watching as Alan materialised. Notching an arrow she fired a shot as he nimbly rolled to the side switching the tonfa's around and opening fire with a barrage of bullets forcing her to leap back. "Hold on a second I have the flag why am I trying to fight him" Lara quickly thought as Alan saw her stare down at the flag and realized what she was about to do "Well crap" he watched her turn around and start running as he quickly chased after her firing hoping to land a hit or slow her down momentarily.
Tom was finding that indeed Erika's shield had indeed been improved as no matter how hard he struck it his attacks would simply reflect back off. Staggering back he ducked underneath a razor fan she had hurled towards him as it thudded into a tree behind, "You know while I do admire your defence you don't really have much in terms of offence do you?" "Humph you underestimate my strength and skill you low peon" she leapt towards Tom still inside the shield as it thudded into him and sent him flying back crashing into the ground.
"While this shield is defensive if I run into a person at speed it'll damage them and leave me unharmed" Erika grinned satisfied she had somewhat bested Tom and proved him wrong. "Rather impressive I have to say" "W-what did you say!" "I said that's impressive how you managed to turn a defensive ability into an offensive one" Erika went bright red and quickly looked away "S-sshut up I don't need your praise you worthless worm!" "Let's test it's endurance then" Tom touched the bottom of his katana as the blades split open and four bombs were launched out latching onto the shield as he quickly jumped back a safe distance pushing the switch again as there was a huge explosion.
"Is that all you can do?" a voice came from within the dust cloud as two knives only narrowly missed hitting Tom in the throat as he moved at the very last second. Erika stepped out completely unharmed two razor's missing from her fan as they instantly were replaced "Hmm now how can I defeat this ultimate defence" Tom thought to himself taking in a deep breath to calm his mind as he stared intensely at Erika who again blushed. "What the hell are you doing staring at me like that!" she yelled as he continued staring "Fine if you're going to stare like a creep I'll simply gouge your eyes out" she slashed the fan up firing off five blades from within as a white shield surrounded Tom deflecting each blade while he continued to analyse the structure trying to locate a weakness.
"Ughh I'm going to say that really hurt" Ania grumbled pulling her face free from the dirt as Tina lay next to her making the exact same noise. Both girls slowly stood up completely dirty and yet both were still smirking enjoying the contest "Have to say I'll be disappointed when I knock you flat out" Tina punched the ground as cracks started to form and the ground shook causing Ania to lose her balance as Tina started jumping between the ground racing towards her. Ducking underneath a violent swipe Ania pushed off the ground creating some distance between the two of them before firing five pink tips.
Tina effortlessly swatted them away but they weren't to harm her simply to distract as Ania closed the gap between them now thrusting her spear through the air at breakneck speed. The tip clanged off Tina's gauntlets as they had been raised to deflect the strike and the force of the blow sent Ania stepping back as her opponent stepped towards her a devastating kick landing as she was sent spiralling through the air before slamming into the trunk of a tree. "That one will leave a bruise tomorrow" Ania got to her feet shaking her head while Tina was going to give her no chance to recover as she leapt towards her a right jab completely severing the tree behind her in half "Man if I get hit by one of those I'll be left purple".
Ducking underneath another jab Ania touched the ground as her eyes glowed a bright crystal blue colour and ice began to shoot out freezing the ground as it engulfed Tina's feet. This caught her by surprise as Tina looked down "Since when did your weapon manipulate dust?" "This is something completely different and I didn't want to have to use it but against you I think I'm willing to risk using this". "Well hate to break it to you but this won't hold me" Tina punched the ground shattering the ice as she went to strike Ania only for a barrage of icicle shards to hit her square in the face freezing completely as she stumbled backwards giving Ania the opening she wanted. Kicking off the ground Ania leapt towards Tina her foot stretched out in front as it cannoned into Tina's stomach knocking the wind completely out from her as she was thrown backwards crumbling to the ground.
"Looks like everyone else is having a rather fun time" Mitch glanced over towards where he heard a few explosions as clouds of dust was rising high into the sky. Erza lunged towards him slashing her blade at his torso as he spun back around deflecting the blow and jumped back "What I'm not allowed to admire the scenery" "If you're distracted in battle it could cost you your life" "I think I just proved I can multi task" he grinned as Erza failed to see the amusement in his comment and lunged towards him stabbing the air as he flipped over her head turned around and swiped at her.
Deflecting the strike away Erza lunged in towards Mitch her blade arcing up through the air as he flipped backwards his feet connecting with Erza's chin kicking her backwards. "Sorry it's just in my instinct to use whatever skills I have to win a fight if a pure sword contest isn't possible" "That's fine after all in battle you have to use every skill at your disposal to win" Erza rubbed her chin "I suppose we can up the pace and utilise our semblances then" "About time I was just itching to unleash some flames" slashing Ashura upwards a fireball flew towards Erza who simply stood there unmoved as her sword was engulfed in a bright white light while Mitch could see it morphing shape and size.
The blade now was coloured blue while the blade was slightly smaller and the hilt had two spikes jutting up on either side. As the fireball raced towards Erza she sliced the blade up a burst of water exploding from it smothering the fireball out as smoke simply wafted around her "So your semblance is water?" "Not quiet" again the sword glowed white and this time was yellow in colour the blade much more narrow like a rapier as electricity crackled all around it. "Okay now I'm just plain lost" "If you manage to beat me then perhaps I'll divulge the secret of my semblance" a bolt of lightning fizzed past Mitch's head exploding against the tree behind him as he turned to see a huge scorch mark on the trunk before turning back to Erza "Who ever said I didn't like a challenging fight" grinning he raced towards her as multiple bolts of lightning flew towards him.
