Sky decided to walk Tom back to his dorm after they had spent a few more hours sitting and talking getting to know each other. As they walked along Tom seemed to find himself enjoying Sky's company more and more, also there was that strange feeling his chest that he felt every time he saw her. His heart would beat faster and he'd find himself nervous the way he felt every time he was doing a test. "This really is a weird feeling and something new" he thought to himself as they stopped outside his dorm room.
"Well I had fun" Sky said shuffling her foot on the ground as she glanced away "Yeah it was" Tom said as there was a sudden awkward air between the two before he simply raised up a hand "Well see you" with that he opened the door and shut it in her face as Sky simply stood there for a few moments longer staring at the wooden door her face slowly turning red "BAKA!" she roared storming off.
"Ermm did I just hear Sky yelling idiot" Mitch said turning his head around from his desk as he saw Tom walking in and plonk himself down on the bed. "What did you do this time" Ania sighed as Tom stared at both of them confused "Nothing we sat and talked for awhile and then she walked me back to the room and I said goodbye" "Was she standing around looking about like she was waiting for something" "Yeah I thought it was a good bye?" "My god…." Ania groaned as Alan started laughing "Man even I could read the situation" "I don't think that's a compliment to yourself in the slightest.." Mitch grumbled as Tom was just lost.
"Wait you mean she was waiting for me to hug her?" "Finally he understands" Mitch threw his hands up after both Ania and himself had spent a few minutes deciphering the situation and explaining it to him. "Why didn't she simply just ask" "Women are complicated people we simply don't bluntly state what we want especially from someone we like, we expect them to understand the situation at hand and then act accordingly" "Right so like a commander in battle I must learn the situation and then act the way I think Sky would want me to act".
"God she's a human being not a battle tactic" Mitch jumped onto his bed cracking open an energy drink and taking a sip as Ania glared at him "Hey who said you could take a break from your homework" "He did after he became so dense with women". "Well I'm going to sleep all this learning about women and what not hurts my head" "And what doing all that studying and extra work doesn't?" Mitch laid back with his hands on his head before a book came hurtling across the room and slammed into his stomach "GET BACK TO WORK" "Yes mistress anything else you desire?" "Perhaps some coffee?" "That was a rhetorical question" "And mine was a serious request" "Bloody hell….."
"Ahhh nothing beats fresh air and doing exercise" Mitch stretched his arms as Ania grumbled "I hate physical education we're doing more work aren't we" "You bet hopefully I can get given additional training as well" "You're like the nerdy physical athlete compared to Tom's book nerdiness" Alan said laughing.
The teacher was waiting for them inside a giant gymnasium as red balls were all around her "Alright today we'll be playing dodge ball but with a twist, you'll be allowed to utilise your semblance to help better your chances of winning". "Hmm who should be the two captain's" eventually Mitch was selected and the second that happened Adrian leapt up "I VOLUNTEER AS THE OTHER CAPTAIN" "Alright then…"
"Ha our rivalry continues then I see" he said walking up and extending his hand as Mitch simply stared at him "Ummm what" "Ohh acting all cool and laid back just what I'd expect from my rival well then you can select first" "Ermmm I choose Alan?" "I pick the beautiful and bodacious Ania then" "Was that a logical decision made by the brain or by your second brain?"
So the teams ended up with Mitch having Alan, Yang, Blake, Tom, Sky and much to his chagrin Nigel while on the other side Adrian had Ania, Weiss, Ruby, Lena, Tessa, Patrick and Wesley. "Alright so the team's have been set now on my whistle you'll run towards the centre and grab a ball each then begin hurling them at each other".
"What's the strategy here captain?" Tom stared at Mitch who shrugged his shoulders "The fastest of our groups race towards the ball while the other prepare to block the counter attack?" "Brilliant strategy I couldn't have said it better myself" Tom raised his hand up as he found himself, Sky, Mitch and Yang were the ones heading towards the ball as the whistle was blown and they all bolted forward eager to get a ball for themselves.
"My semblance is perfect for this type of situation" Tom thought to himself as he closed his eyes for a second feeling time slow down around him, opening them he saw everyone moving in slow motion except for Ania who was moving surprisingly quick but then again she had activated her semblance. "Who should I aim for first?" he spotted Lena standing at the back hands on hip barely interested and found his first prey.
As time resumed he had rolled forward grabbing one of the balls and in one swift motion hurled it through the air as it ducked past everyone slamming straight into Lena's face as she tumbled backwards screaming KYAHHHH. "MY FACE" she roared jumping up as a red welt was left while she glared around wondering who had thrown the ball only for another one to smack her straight in the stomach "I'd get out of there if you don't want to get hit anymore" Miss Aiho called out as Lena grumbled walking to the side.
Ania who was the second to grab a ball knew her target the second she spotted Nigel as she flung the ball unleashing her semblance as it sped through the air crunching straight between his legs as a high pitched squeal eminanted from him before he toppled over down for the count. "I'm going to say I can live with having him eliminated" Mitch chuckled before rolling to the side avoiding a throw from Adrian "Ahhh good dodge my rival but I bet I can dodge more than you can HA!" "This guy…"
