In a dimly lit room with all the curtains drawn was lying a beautiful but sickly-looking lady with frowns on her forehead. By the looks of her you could tell that she was suffering from a nightmare. About a quarter of an hour later she opened her eyes, the frown on her forehead was gone and it was replaced by curiosity in her eyes. It felt as if she was looking at the world for the first time in her life.
You could hear her muttering some weird stuff to herself. She asked herself "Where the heck is this place? I was just about to return to the Main planet then I was attacked by some extra-terrestrial beings and jumped into the wormhole and lost consciousness, now that I am awake I am in this strange place. What the hell happened while I was out?" After that she started fiddling through the stuff in the room, she saw a picture frame on the bedside table with a man and woman holding hands and smiling at each other happily. But suddenly she noticed something weird, the woman in the picture had almost seventy percent resemblance with her. This left her flabbergasted. She held the picture and sat on the bed again.
While sitting on the bed she suddenly felt a heart wrenching pain in her head as if her head was about to split in half. Slowly she adjusted her breath and found that her mind was filled with unfamiliar memories, it felt as if she had lived through the instances that happened in these memories. Slowly she sorted out all the memories and figured out what happened and why she found herself in this unknown environment.
She surprisingly transmigrated to a planet called Earth. The body she transmigrated to has the same name as her and goes by the name 'Liu Mei Lian'. But after she went through all the memories of this body she realized something weird. She noticed that before she transmigrated to this body the original owner of this body was suffering from Amnesia i.e. she had lost all her memories before the age of 19. The original Liu Mei Lian had a car accident in which she lost her memories and she was saved by her current husband who took her back as she had no memories. He helped her find her identity cards and some belongings which were lost during the accident after about 6 months of being together. During the time they spend together they naturally fell for each other and got married at the age of 20. But this marriage was quite different from the happy life that the original Mei Lian imagined.
Since she could not remember her past her family background was unknown and her current husband Su Zi Han's mother was very against them being together. There was also Zihan's childhood sweetheart who would come from time to time to interfere in their relationship. It would not have been that difficult to tackle all this if Su Zi Han faced all this together with the original Liu Mei Lian but reality was somewhat different. Although Su Zi Han could be considered a decent and loving husband to Mei Lian but when it came to his mother and childhood friend he would always side with them whether they are right or wrong. He subconsciously felt that Mei Lian should adjust with them and bear with them since they were his close relatives. And this behavior of him condoning the actions of his mother and childhood friend took away the lives of Mei Lian and her child.
After the current Mei Lian received the memories she not only received the memories after the accident but also before the accident, she also saw what would have happened to the original Mei Lian after 6 months of her marriage. Currently Mei Lian and her husband have been married for almost 3 months. As per the original trajectory Mei lian should have found out after a month that she was pregnant. She was very happy hearing this news and couldn't wait to tell her husband but when she went to her husband's office to give him this surprise she was shocked to see her husband kissing his childhood friend Li Yue.
This incident brought quite a shock to her and she confronted her husband regarding this but he just waved it off saying that Yue'r just lost her balance while she was walking and it was just an accident, he then said that she was simply overreacting as she did not like Li Yue. This incident was the beginning of Mei Lian's impending doom. Day by day she became depressed, the husband and wife would quarrel quite often and sometimes Su Zi Han would not even come back home.
This kind of life continued until one day when Mei Lian was just about to go down the stairs to the kitchen she received a message from Li Yue. The message had several photographs of Zi Han and Li Yue making love the day before. These pictures blew a fuse in her mind, she was so infuriated that her mind blacked out and she fainted. As she fainted she lost control of her body and rolled down the stairs. Her head hit the corner of a pillar near the staircase and started bleeding profusely. There was no one at home and she lied there in a pool of blood without anyone coming to her rescue. This incident ended the life of a 20 yr old girl and her 4-month-old baby. Her body was found the next day when her husband returned home.
It was diagnosed that she died due to excessive blood loss, if the husband had returned the day before he could have saved both his wife and his child. Zi Han also found her phone where the last message was still on display and this message being the precursor of this incident was quite evident. This was not as simple as an accident. But an instigated murder by his dear childhood friend.
But since he had already lost his wife and did not want to lose his childhood friend he chose to hide the evidence and save Li yue.
