As they went out kirean went to his basement to continue his research although theoretically speaking he is the smartest Ultima that will ever live but reality is a different thing he neither has the drive or passion in this field as amber has but that doesn't mean he can't find things of interest and really research it at this moment kirean was researching how to make a artificial soul and a system the system part is easy so he is saving it for last but the artificial soul is hard luckily he has the drive and passion for this project so he hasn't given up yet he knows very well an artificial soul could be highly unethical that is if it's used to reanimate corpses just for them to be killed luckily that is not the use of them after all creating a soul for it be destined to be destroy is a bit much even for kirean even then the research was a bit much for kirean who never researched before he stayed up the entire night just researching it, although to humans creating an artificial souls seems fantasy humans are the same people that think they are special because they only know themself's in that expanding universe humans don't even know what consciousness is they don't even know what the universe is made off thought kirean clearly mocking his previous self he remembered everyone freaking out about conscious AIs just thinking back at it makes him laugh they didn't even know what conscious is it was literally impossible for them thought kirean as he came to the realization he was way over his head working on the artificial soul so he started working on the system he wanted it to be almost identical to his but with a few added features, by the afternoon he had the framework for the system ready everything works as his there's a status that shows an ultimas progress there's quests, missions and many more he wanted for the system to be as versatile as possible it should even be possible to assist in combat by highlighting weak spots
