Chapter 46 - Potential!

Mia just plainly nodded and said "haha they probably laughed at you when you left" leaving Stephen embarrassed and a little confused as he asked "why don't you care about forefathers proposal it can mean everything to us" Mia hearing Stephen just sighed and shook her head and said "we have no power to do anything if they wanted to kill us just a wave of attacks and we are gone they also had no reason to talk to us or take care of us they can just throw us into a planet we have no power to speak of in-front of them to even be treated as equal and respect is already enough" as Stephen heard this he was quite for a minute as he nodded as he also knew they had no power to even speak to the leader to even be treated as equals is extremely generous he believes if they had come to a system inhabited by any other aliens they'll probably be enslaved or tested on or just plain out exterminating them and the chances of inhumane research done on them to the point of all of them being wiped out both body and mind these are not just speculations as the stories from the avar autocracy his father used to tell him can prove that in the universe only the strong can speak and thinking of this he was even more pleased and just thought he was thinking too much as he said "your right Mia our lives are in their hands and if the stories of our ancestors ever told us anything it was that it's a blessing to even be treated with respect" said Stephen with a sigh as he felt the weight of his entire species off his shoulders as he knows for now they should be alright Mia look at her soon to be husband and just smiled as Stephen said "this food is amazing Mia you learned by yourself" making the smile even wider on her face as she began to talk about the cooking show and the high quality ingredients, as the night set Mia and Stephen sat on their couch watching tv as a commercial they haven't seen pop up

The screen turned dark with flashes of ultimas fighting each other in a tournament like arena the magnitudes of the battles flabbergasted them as just the shockwave will turn them into a pool of blood as the screen zooms out from the ultimas fighting you can see they are fighting inside a ship as the screen continues to zoom out you could hear massive explosions and bright flashes as the ship shakes and breaks a little as the camera continues to zoom out Mia and Stephen realize it's actually a space battle going on and the ships that escorted them are into 3 sided fight with each other and the battle was so grand that they are sure that even the flak cannons to ward of strike ships and ultimas would instantly destroy their strongest trade fleet as the battle continued it continued to escalate as ultimas started fighting in space with big flashes and shock waves everywhere on the battlefield signifying a battle happening the shockwaves looked so huge and spread so wide that it looked like it could shatter moons of course the ships were fine as why would ultimas build something they can so easily break might aswell just fly in space then but the ships were in battles themselves as the 3 fleets with different formations battled as the troops continue fighting for supremacy of the space giving their fleets help as they tried boarding enemy fleets the battle got so intense that massive beast of varying species and races started popping up and fighting aswell as the fight intensified with the explosions of ships and golden blood sprinkled in the vacuum of space as gigantic explosions started going with enough energy to destroy 100s of planets the fight continued to progress as it appeared the 3 heads of the fleets had enough as they had lost over 80% of their fleets and countless soldiers the three faceless ultimas stood in the void infront of their respective fleets as soldiers stopped fighting as this final battle will judge the direction of the entire battle the 3 stand in fighting stance's with energy running wild as a gigantic golden crown the size of a solar system appears on top of the battle field as they were about to fight the screen goes black as Stephen and Mia sat their dumbfounded as the display showed was too exaggerated as Stephen snapped out of his shock and said " I didn't know they were so militaristic I thought they were peace loving xenophiles" Mia nodded aswell as there was no clue on them being this militaristic well it was a given they haven't found out yet as they only knew ultimas for a few days and haven't watched any of the 20 year tournaments that passed Mia then asked "what do you think this commercial is for?" Stephen just sat there as he also had no idea luckily the tv answered their questions as the black screen flickered and showed a vastly different scene the screen was glitching but you could make out what it was it was a battle of crazier magnitude to the last one the 3 fleets were fighting together this time as a 500,000km ship was fighting them the battle field was messy as the combined fleets were already reduced to only 3 battle ships and 2 carriers the void was littered with ship parts and golden blood aswel as body parts of different animals rampaging energy was everywhere as you could tell something detonated here something powerful the 500,000km ship was not fine aswell as you could see huge dents on its entire hull with even giant holes on the battle field there only stood 3 thousand individuals all of them bloody and with the eye in the middle open with various powers pouring out but you could tell they are exhausted and almost out of energy some ultimas are even missing arms or legs as at the front of this group were the 3 they saw that are about to fight at the last battle but this time the 3 are extremely battered and bloody due to the glitchy screen you couldn't make out what they were saying but you could make out some words "out..of…energy soon… it's time" as they finished talking this the only words being able to be made out due to the glitchy screen the 3 simultaneously nodded as they said something to the void as the remaining 5 ships moved seeming to be a suicide mission as they made their way to the "dreadnought" without even shields the 3 said something to the 3k soldiers left from the fight making them extremely serious as there was only 1,5k females and males as to what happened to the others you could guess based on the Ultimas personality and the big explosions and residual energy, as the ships neared the "dreadnought" the dreadnought fired at them but the ships hell bent on the mission moved the 2 carriers infront of incoming fire as with no troops they are useless as the first carrier was struck it shattered into pieces while also exploding as the other carrier resolutely follows behind readily to take the other blow as time passed the remaining ships well ship finally made it as close as it could get it was a battleship the screen shows a close up of the second in command just standing there while the other crew did aswell weirdly to the couple they couldn't see no sadness or anything on there faces as this was normal to them as the second in command said some words again it wasn't heard but one word was picked up "overload…" as this word was said a crew pressed a button as the entire ship exploded into a huge explosion like a super nova from the cover of the explosion came the 3k soldiers and the 3 captains their final ships got them as close as they could now they have to go by themselves without cover the 3k soldiers were in an odd formation as they basically just surrounded the 3 captains as they moved forward to the dreadnought it looked as it's sensors picked them up as flak cannons started firing at them as well as did the other weaponry but aren't as accurate as the flak cannons weirdly enough to the couple what was left of the fleets didn't attack just defended as they dodged huge cannon shells and were hammered with smaller AA guns weirdly enough when it looked like one had run out of energy they would resolutely go infront of the team and self destruct into a huge cloud of wild energy blocking the sensors of the ships with this method they had finally reached the ships with the last two soldiers self destructing the 3 faceless captains made a mad dash towards the ship as they dodged bullets and energy weapons as they tried theyre best to dodge and move forward as fast as they could unfortunately the first one fell as he self destruction in front of the last two creating cover as the last two zoom to the ship unfortunately the same fate happened to another captain leaving a female looking captain all alone thankfully the final sacrifice allowed her to be right infront a gaping hole in the body of the dreadnought as she entered the hole into the interior she attempted to blow her self up but as she was going to do it taking down the dreadnought she realized she had no energy at all as a picture of thousands of dried up planets and desolate space appeared on the screen as she felt her eyes shut for the very last time Mia was already in tears as this fight was way too dramatic as Stephen had his blood boiling and would love to go to the battle and fight but as the two were about to say something bold words in gold popped up on the screen "release your potential…for them" as the words were said pictures of the captain with her family and friends soon over taken by pictures of death and pain all around her, although ultimas are overpowered you have to remember they have not felt pain they have a lot of dormant potential they have never experienced death and as we know from anime's emotions are the best way to unlock your potential and will yourself to your goal and as the final picture of a golden Ultima looking at her with a smile so warm that it made all the pain disappear as the finally picture of her forefather showed something did snap as the darkness was replaced by 3 entirely white eyes as she managed to do something that no Ultima knew it was possible as doing it basically means death she used all her cells and atoms as well as ever atom in her gods domain and rapidly collided creating heat higher than millions of suns soon it was so hot the atoms managed to fuse creating fusion and the amount of atoms a Ultima has would put a star system to shame not to mention her gods domain was included so you can imagine the amount of energy that was released from this fusion reaction was insane as she felt her senses leave her as she knew she had completed her mission she uttered a single word that the glitchy screen managed to pick up "forefather…" as these words were said an explosion so ridiculously strong that it ripped the fabric of space and created a primordial black hole completely destroying everything went black with the date of the fleet tournament aswell as merchandise for different fleets as everything finishes the couples who are both crying right now couldnt help but say "what a splendid show we have to see the fleet tournament" said Mia with red eyes as this was the most dramatic thing she has ever seen Stephen with no exception also has red eyes as he said "definitely going this was brilliant if this was shared with the universe it would be a generational work that would be remembered for centuries"
