As they strolled towards the cafeteria, Kay inadvertently collided with someone.
"Watch where you're going, will you?"
Kay offered a cursory apology and attempted to continue on his way, but the individual he'd bumped into suddenly yanked him back. They locked eyes for a moment, then shifted their gaze to Shiina before returning their focus to Kay and sneered,
"You don't know how to show proper respect, do you? I'm rank 20, and you're rank 29, if I'm correct. An apology simply won't cut it."
Kay's voice remained devoid of emotion as he replied,
"I'm not sure what you're getting at. Could you just release me?"
The person who bumped into Kay sneered.
"I want you to get down on your knees and say sorry."
Kay's expression remained stoic.
"I see. So you messed with me because I'm ranked lower than you, but I'm not interested in fighting for your amusement. If you want to prove your dominance, there are other ways to do it. I suggest you find them."
