When the man heard that Alex we're lost, he seemed to have relaxed his vigilance.
"So, you're lost… What can I do to help you?" he asked.
"Since you said you're a local, can you guide us? We really don't know anything about this place." Alex answered.
The man thought about it for a bit and said, "Then, let me bring you to our village first. If you have anything to ask, you can probably ask the elders there."
"Really? That's great!"
At his suggestion, Alex agreed with a smile.
Then the three of them started moving with the man on the lead.
As they were walking, Alex learned that the man's name is Gilbert.
Alex talked with Gilbert as they were walking, inquiring about things here and there.
It was basically about the ways of living here of the people and such.
Gilbert was polite and always answered Alex questions.
But when there's something he can't answer, he just remains silent.
