Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 3

"But this year, you made me laugh so your abuse wasn't that bad right? I fed you lies and you believe them easily and began to report it to the—what's that name again?" She stopped and looked at her shadow, asking for the insolent syndicate who thought they successfully infiltrate her kingdom.

"It was the Fullocia Syndicate, Madame." One of her men answered her. Silence fell in as Andrea looked at her shadow, unable to move then looked at the man who answered her. It turns out, someone as competent as him, answered her directly without fear. She smiled, her smile was visible as her mask only covers her eyes up to her nose, red as the base color resembling how red the spider lily is with gold lining on the edge signifying the mask-shaped fox.

She's truly a hideous fox.

"I didn't ask you. Step forward." Her commanding voice boomed as the man who answered her stepped forward, and didn't look away from her. He looks prideful, confident, and brave at this point. Andrea nods at him, this man should be part of her shadows. "Did I ask you? Why did you answer it?" She asked straight, without removing her eyesight towards the man who didn't show fear nor reacted scared at all.

"Because I knew the answer, Madame." He replied shortly and on point. It's true, if you knew the answer, you answer the question.

Andrea pulled out her gun, a classic Remington R1 tactical model, aimed at her shadow, and pulled the trigger. The shadow didn't flinch nor showed any emotion. Of course, Andrea didn't completely shoot him, it missed him as per Andrea's intention. "Too slow. Next time, I'll shoot you in your head. Now, where was I? Oh yes of course. You." She said in her usual cold voice and looked at the man she wanted to make one of her shadows.

"Follow me after this. Let's talk." She said and showed a smile that was feared by many. The man bowed at her order and returned to his position—where he was standing. "Ahh, I forgot about you. So yes, good thing I placed a bug inside you. Fucking thick face, and didn't even think about the consequences. Are spies nowadays so stupid to the point I could point them out in a glance?" Her voice roared.

"Take this as an example." She said as she pulled out a knife, and threw it at the corner without even looking where the knife would hit. She threw it sideway wherein her elbow was positioned forward as her hand was on her shoulder. She held the knife by the tip of it as the end of the knife faced her face. It happened so fast that everyone was alert when a man suddenly shouted like he just experiences unbearable pain. The knife went to his right thigh, and seedeepeply into his muscles, making him unable to move.

"To think no one noticed this fucking rat, listening to me. Is this how weak you are? Letting this rat inside our organization? Gosh." Another disappointment came in. Andrea was mad, there should be times when she should kill anyone weak. Weak children do not belong in this department.

"Tell me, Does Lycoris Syndicate look weak to you?" She questioned them but no one answered. Irritation started to flare in her eyes she was not into this whole silent thing. Except for the man below her who keeps on moaning and begging them or her to kill him instead of torturing him.

As a person whose anger is always on the verge of explosion, it finally exploded due to this man's annoying, please. "You want to be killed? Well, fuck it. I'll see you in hell." She said angrily and pointed her gun at the man's head and pulled the trigger. Everyone sensed that she was not in her best mood after what happened. It's not new to them, especially when she's like this. Someone has to die to quench her anger away.

"Ahh. That feels nice. Unfortunately, I'm still not in my best mood." She said as she look at the limping spy getting dragged by her men. It was harsh to drag someone who was injured. Let alone this men's grip can crush someone's bone and she's betting, this child's arms are already broken. But does Andrea care? She doesn't. To hell should she care about this spy? Her heart's not soft to fall into such tactics in life.

"Let him go, it's not like he can do anything to me." She said as she removed the knife that penetrated his leg. "Ack!" The man groaned in pain as blood overflowed his leg.

"Painful right?" She commented, smirking at the stupid spy. Well, he's not an average spy of a fly because even her men didn't manage to feel his presence. He is quite the good one. But does she care? No of course. "Who sent you here? If you don't answer by the time I counted till three, this knife will pierce your other leg." She said still smirking as if she was joking. But don't be fooled by her smiling face, behind it is a demon who seeks pleasure through torture.

"You witch! Do you think I'll answer—back!" The man answered her, refusing to share information suddenly shouted in pain as Andrea dug the knife into his other leg. She stood up the moment she heard him answer and directly swing the knife down to his other leg. "Darling, that's not the right answer I want to hear. It's a simple question that everyone always gets to ask and answer. Why beat around the bush?" She asked him as she held his broken arm and gripped it tightly causing the man to flinch every time.

"W-why should I t-tell you? I swore l-loyalty, not to you." He answered confidently, making Andrea loosen her grip on his hand. Her smile was deformed, and her eyes look like they could kill someone right now. The man in front of her smiled at her smugly, it seems he hits her core.

"HAHAHAHA!"

His proud smile went to dust when Andrea laughed at him. It was louder than usual. As if she heard something amusing that caught her attention. Even her men and the shadow behind her look at her in confusion. Their boss just laughs like a psycho out of the mental hospital. Something's gonna happen.

Her loud laugh quite passed the time, she wipes her tears from laughing too much. This guy said something amusing to her that made her laugh. Swore loyalty? To who? To everyone who pays him money? This motherfucker needs to know the definition of swearing loyalty or just the word loyalty.

"Oh man, it's been so long since I heard that term. Loyalty. Such a big word for a dick like you." She said still chuckling. The confused spy look at her as if she was some sort of a crazy woman. But he didn't deny that when she spoke, it was something that can cause havoc to someone's heart. Especially sinceraineeethe e only one covered in her face was her lips. The rest remains mysteries.

"I can't believe that you're talking about loyalty." She said as she went back from sitting in the chair, using the dead man's body to support the chair. "Ha, loyalty is something that you can offer to only one person. Yet, you talked about swearing an oath of loyalty to different men whose power is not even that equivalent to how Lycoris is standing. You're pathetic. Well, it's not that surprising anymore especially since human follows a person whose money is unlimited. But who says you can follow just one person? When you can fool someone and everyone. You got me with your ability." She said.

It looks like she's complimenting him for doing the best of his ability to fool everyone except for her. She knew everyone. Every person inside her organization knew them. Even those spies they sent to her. She's not dumb to let people in and out.

Exception for spies. Let them carry false information and spread them to their filthy owners. It doesn't matter. Why? Because she can slowly make an entrance to annihilate every organization that tried to unveil the mystery of Lycoris.

"But do you think I'll save you? I admit I was astonished by your performance for 1 week of working inside. A top performer successfully blended inside my dome. Even my top men can't figure you out. I let you walk outside with small information regarding our syndicate. But have you noticed something?"

She grabbed the spy's chin and brings it closer to her. If men could see this, they'd be jealous at the sight of a woman, leaning in toward the man. But this man knew that it was not even sweet nor could be jealous of it. don't want to kill themselves this early.

The spy is even limping in pain. Who the hell will think that this sight is so sweet?

"All information you delivered was not filtered. But have you been paying attention to the men you fooled? Each one of them dies unknowingly. Some of them even went missing. Just like how Governor Goyo lost his body." She said sweetly at the spy whose eyes widened at her statement. Fear finally infiltrated his system, he began to shake uncontrollably and even his eyes shook.

"Guess who the fuck killed them?" She said as she smiled at the spy whose fear is now visible in his eyes. Even the devil will tremble at how much of a mad woman she is by now.

"It's me," she whispered as she smiled sinisterly as she blew her breath to the man who was shaking in fear, face lacking color. He was very pale, intimidated by Andrea's superior aura. She smirked as she saw how scared the man in front of her was. Even though she was wearing a mask, everyone fear her.
