Chapter 30: Calibration, Battle Mode!
The door to the training room opened with a whizz.
Zayn and Lynn quickly stepped in.
The training room looked quite simple. A little too simple to be precise.
Apart from three oval shaped pods which stood about nine feet tall, there was barely anything else in the white coloured room.
"Mm. Such exquisite VR pods. No matter how many times I get in here, I can never shake the feeling that I'm in some sort of super cool video game." Kai chuckled.
"Keep talking like that, and you might die soon enough in this "game."" Zayn spat sarcastically.
Kai just shook his head and said nothing.
Meanwhile, Lynn had walked to the pod on the center and quickly removed his clothes, revealing a chiselled body covered by only shorts.
Two books appeared on his hand, accompanied by a distinct glow from a spatial item.
"Wait, weren't you–" Kai looked at Zayn, puzzled.
