The sound of many people talking on their phones and or simply conversing with one another echoed throughout the school bus. Some stay quiet listening to music, others simply look out the bus windows watching as the bus passes by from area to area and others.
Are simply sleeping, Dean finds himself unable to keep himself awake, his eyes flickering to stay open, he yawned to himself as he leaned his head against the busses window. But rude to the kid majority of young adult teens around him he manages to stay awake.
The bus wobbles and bumps due to the poor condition of the road it travels on, and the many people filling up seats and taking up certain spots in the bus as they stand. Made for some pretty bad conditions for Dean, the overwhelming sense of heat due to the many people body heat's suffocating him made Dean very uncomfortable. But like any regular person, Dean simply sighed to himself and tried to deal with it.
He looked out the window and thought to himself, "this is gonna be my first time attending a public school far away from home. Hopefully, I have no issues in getting in, I don't wanna pass an embarrassing moment" Dean thought nervously to himself.
"YOU BASTARD, GET OUT OF MY SEAT"
"What?!, I GOT HERE FIRST SO PISS OFF"
Dean's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sound of two males starting to argue over a seat on the bus. One of the males was a handsome brown-haired, and yellow-stone-eyed gentleman. While the other was a masculine and fit dark brown-haired and grey-colored-eyed man. Both of them seemed to be at each other's necks, neither of them backing down.
Dean simply looked over to the sea of people who began to pull out their phones readying to record their brawl over a seat on the bus, Dean merely leaned his head back against the bus window and waited for the storm to blow over. Not getting involved in something that wasn't his business was dean's first policy, Dean smiled to himself.
"That's enough from the both of you, can't you see you're just gonna humiliate yourselves just for other's entertainment and benefits?"
Sudd let the sound of a woman's voice come from the far ends of the bus. Dean now having his interest peaked looser over his seat to the back and notice the woman, her tail slender figure, as well as her silver-colored hair, and her crystal cyan blue eyes. She immediately got the attention of everyone on the bus, especially the two guys who were about to brawl.
"And who the hell are you?"
One of the males spoke sarcastically. The other stayed silent with his face full of worry, as though he knew who the person who confronted them was. The woman slowly made her way through the crowd of people to the two males. Right as she passed dean's seat, she took a glance at him before rolling her eyes a bit just to meet the gazes of the two men in front of her.
"It's rude to ask someone's name before giving your own, but seeing as you are no more than a brute with no brains I suppose introductions are in order. My name is 'Nora Condov', the daughter of 'Mikel Condov' the prime minister of this very city, and the very roads and bus you are currently riding on. Now then simpleton I require a specified and detailed description of your name and family background"
Nora spoke with conviction and a great deal of confidence, her voice chilling and calm yet while a vast feeling of superiority. The masculine fellow gasped silently, his face full of shock and fear. Like a dog, he obediently responded formally even lowering his head to her bowing in signs of respect and admiration.
"L-'Leon Waldervelch' is both my name and family name Ms.Condov!"
"Waldervelch?, ah I see you the son of that politician my father let off with a small warning for trying to boast about his political views on how this city's economy and future will shape if he was ever elected, how downright hubristic. And for me to run into his son on a bus leading to the university where many talented young souls here are trying to achieve their dreams and goals are going. Your truly a piece of work, so I'm going to let you off with a warning, once we get to the university I'll happily deliver an expulsion form to the headmaster directly detailing why you are no longer required to attend Skyline"
Leon's face plummeted to a pale white expression, his face sweated with embarrassment. Nora simply sighed out of irritation and went back to the back of the bus to be seated, she glanced over her shoulder to the other male who cause a commotion. He merely shivered a bit and sat down quietly, Leon sat as well quietly as a mouse could be. Dean was amazed at how she handled the situation, she even managed to break the poor guy's spirit, and all she told him was he was getting immediately expelled.
Dean couldn't help but laugh a bit under his breath, looking back out the window of the school bus as it slowly arrived at the university that was slowly coming into view. Many of the students on the bus looked out their respective windows seeing the university and its very large and vast campus building, it was something you'd probably see out of a movie. Both the male and female ratios on the bus were in awe of what they were seeing, they couldn't contain their excitement.
Nora who was sitting in the back merely looked out the window and sighed out of exhaustion. Dean slowly began to sit up when the bus came to a stop near the university's entrance gate. One by one each student got off the bus leaving Dean the last to exit the bus, once he got off though, he was met with the very large tall campus building looming overhead. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, he smiled while looking at the building.
"Hey, why did you glance over at me?"
A very familiar voice called over to him. Dean immediately looked around to see who it was that called to him, to only be met with surprise when he saw that it was Nora Condov.
"Huh?"
"Don't huh me, I asked you a question; why did you glance at me?"
"Oh, well I just thought how it was amazing, you handled that situation like it was no more than a mundane task. I just thought you'd be like me, not giving it any thought and leaving matters be is all"
"Like 'you'? Please don't lump me in the same category as an ordinary person, it's both insulting and very rude given my status and background. And as for the situation that happened on the bus, of course, it was a mundane task, if I can't handle a simple situation that occurs on a bus between two simpletons, then I don't deserve my position as the next head of my household or to be the president of this esteemed university"
Her words felt genuinely honest, there wasn't a hint of doubt or lack of confidence. Dean merely stared into her clear cyan-blue eyes seeing why many males would fall for her. But dean suddenly shrugged his shoulders and walked past her over to the school gate entrance, Nora at the moment was a bit dumbfounded by the fact that he could simply just give her a response as nonchalant as that.
Dean gave her a response with a simple shoulder shrug because he couldn't be bothered getting into a conversation with someone who might threaten his position at the university, plus Dean just didn't like her attitude. Nora watched as Dean entered the university grounds passing through the gate, she couldn't help but feel like she's seen him before somewhere but couldn't place her finger on it, her thoughts however were interrupted by the sound of her phone ringing.
"Yes, hello? Father, yes I have arrived at the university, I'm fine and I'll do you proud by being held responsible for any of the university's problems and shortcomings. Yes, you have my word father, alright then I'll talk to you soon"
The phone call was short and collective. Nora turned to see if she could see dean again, but he was nowhere to be seen. She sighed and walked into the university as the gate behind her began to close, her thoughts were only on the perfection of her craft and how she could shape the university.
Dean could be seen at a nearby open snack bar, he order some sweets and a small bottle of water.
"And with that, let this ordinary life of mine begin.."
He smiled gleefully to himself.
