The two already inquired why he had such a surprising change of attitude, but Theo refused any sort of question Helena and Sky presented and kept himself hidden under the thin blanket.
Both of them gave up after a while, not wanting to make Theo more uncomfortable, which Theo greatly appreciated.
All he wanted was to hide behind the world even for just a moment after enacting such embarrassing scene out in public in front of hundreds of people in a foreign land.

The towering figure above the high steps sat Renwick on a black throne that stretched all the way to the highest ceiling imaginable. The throne room alone would probably fit thousands of people easily, that was how big the room was.
Theo stood, including the other envoy on the red carpet on the floor staring up at the Emperor of Darkness.
Even though Renwick was still and didn't emit any mana at all, the pressure of his presence alone bored down on every single person in the room. Helena and Sky were, trembling in fear, afraid that they would suffocate under the existence of a Pinnacle in the same room, luckily they became at ease with The Duke Windsor and Aurora were beside their own respective child to ease their pressure.
The actual person who was having the most trouble was Theo, who was glared at by the emperor, not knowing what he specifically did to deserve such treatment.

She was actually glaring at his father, questioning him, why he was pressuring Theo.
Her mother was just shaking her head in disappointment at the act of pettiness his husband is enacting.
Aurora stood up without the permission of the emperor and glared at him, noticing his actions affecting her son.
"Renwick, give me a good reason why I shouldn't insult you right now" Aurora said with a tone that almost seemed like growling.
The pressure weighing down on Theo disappeared with the queen's interjection.
The emperor simply scoffed in response.
"Your son has disgraced my daughter in front of hundreds of my subordinates" Renwick glaring back Aurora in response.
"..... Are you seriously angry about that? Both of them are betrothed, Renwick!"
"That doesn't mean that brat could just hug my daughter shamelessly in public! He needs to be taught a lesson!"
Selene and Theo, hearing the two exchanges from their respective parents, couldn't handle the conversation. Their faces were slowly glowing red in embarrassment, begging in their mind that the two would stop discussing about their earlier incident
Aurora, hearing the absurdity that the emperor was spouting, glanced at Levana, signaling her for help.
Levana sighed and nodded her head, agreeing to Aurora's request.
"Dear Husband" Levana uttered coldly
"Ah, What is it Levana, dear?"
"Move on, you're ruining your reputation. If you keep pursuing this matter, I'm not talking with you for a week."

Renwick, scrunched up his face and remained silent at the threat of his wife.
Theo took a mental note to rely on the empress of Aventus if he ever had problems with the emperor in the future.
Theo and Selene sighed in relief, thanking the gods that The Dark Emperor was silenced from mentioning the embarrassing incident earlier today.
"Ehem! A servant shall be assigned to each one of you. They will guide you to your room and accommodate you during your stay here in the Palace. I hope you have a great afternoon. We shall continue our discussions tomorrow, it is better for everyone to rest after a long journey"
Each person within the room was given a single maid or butler that guided all the guests to their rooms, while that was happening, Theo and Selene were planning their next move.
Theo and Selene parted ways once more, but luckily it was only a few hours this time.
