[RACIAL PERK]

[Zephyr's Might]

You have thrown in your lot with the Argonne. Your will bends the element to your desires. Grasping its intricacies is something you are a bit closer to doing.

[PERSONAL PERK ]

[Sky Bend]

As the God of Might you exert will over the wind element yet remain unbeholden to it

[SKILLS] - [ZEPHYR'S MIGHT]

[Wind Flight] - [PASSIVE]

[Lv0 - 0/50] - [BASIC]

[Flight aided by passive winds which keep you buoyant with or without the use of your wings]

[Cost - None][Cooldown - None]

Using Daedalus was the best I could come up with mostly due to the wings and my interest in Greek gods. I frowned at my stats wondering why they had been reduced in such a way. I was sure the template showed tbe numbers in tens.

Looking at each attribute I poked mentally sure now that it was the best way to interact with the system.

[STRENGTH]

A denotation of one's physical capabilities in exerting force and power. As a god with a race, you are measured as being 1.5 times strong at base. x2 for using the native race.

[AGILITY]

The quality of having speed and dexterity. Able to react and move limbs and body fast. Your base agility is recorded at 3 times the normal due to your race. x2 for using the native race.

[ENDURANCE]

The measure of your persistence and vitality. As a god, you have boundless stamina but you are not immortal. Health pool (HP) is calculated at 10x your current endurance. Regeneration is at 1/min. Any modifiers will be equally multiplied to gain more increase in HP. Base endurance is 1.5 times the normal due to your race. x2 for using the native race.

[MIND]

This involves both mental strength in resisting attacks and control as well as intelligence to better understand and use skills and insights. The mental strength required to use intent is necessary as such intent is only as strong as your will but bears as much as your mind can. Regenerates at 1/10 secs. Your mind is 2 times the norm due to race. x2 for using the native race.

[WILL]

While strenght is the capacity to exert physical force. Will is one's mental strength. The capability to use and exert your intent in and around you. The intent possessed is calculated at 10x your current will. Will is closely tied to the mind and while not receiving any boost will still be affected by any damage to the mind. Regeneration speed for intent is affected by the mind stat too. Will is at 2 times the base due to race. x2 for using the native race.

'Does this mean if I had selected a custom race I would have started at nothing?.' I shivered at the thought. Scary.

I felt a bit excited at my description shown as a god. Then there was the MVC.

'Multiversal coins' I mouthed out perusing the mental info the system filled me with. I got both its uses and how to earn them. There was a store made by the creator where I could buy things from.

What kind of things I didn't know for now since I was not yet eligible. I frowned though at the negative 20 in my tab. When did I owe negative twenty? Was this creator a scammer or something?

Looking on I noticed my HP pool and Intent. Quickly returning to the stats section I scrutinized it more realizing how Hp and intent were affected. It made a bit of sense with HP but not much for intent.

"So my intent is 2x strong but each use drains or weakens it. Takes ten seconds to regenerate one. Alright. This is gonna burn". Going on I noted my passive skill and smiled gladly at tbe fact that it didn't have a cost for use.

'At least that saves up on intent" I nodded appreciatively since I wasn't sure how fast or how intent would be needed in the long run to survive this game.

"Now to get out of here and find some clothes unless it's okay to be naked around here. Which I doubt."

Another ding in my mind brought up another prompt.

[TUTORIAL - COMPLETE]

[REWARDS - God starter pack]

[ACCEPT ]

[Y/N]

I watched as a large box appeared before me. It was rectangular, had a lid, and was made of plain wood. Etched on it was a symbol. A golden ring with three different shaded wolf heads biting at the sides of the ring from within backing the other and with a teardrop in their center. A feather seemed to have made been weaved into the upper section of the ring curving before continuing as a normal golden band.

The lid opened when I pushed it to the side reminding me of a coffin. Within was a pouch, a garment folded in, and two crystals. The first was a black-tinted crystal that absorbed light and the second was just transparent.

The first thing I did was grab the garment which disappeared and appeared over me. It was a normal shirt and pants but no boots. Like I could wear those anyway.

"Auto equip. Nice, at least that's covered".

The next was the pouch which also vanished and a ding had me checking.

[MVC - +50]

Checking my interface I shook my head at the 30 MVC balance I had. Now were the crystals. For some reason, I took the light one first. Good news before the bad if I was using the classic light for good and black for the evil trope.

[Weapon crystal detected]

[Would you like to claim]

[Y/N]

I tried prodding the crystal for more info but received emptiness. Well, something was better than nothing. Accepting the crystal shattered and turned to silver dust that coagulated into a line.

Then thickened to form a sword. Brown grip, copper blade, a bronze guard, and a rusty-looking pommel. It was like an old abandoned weapon given away since it had no better use in storage.

Silently I grabbed it out of the air feeling its weight. Since I didn't know much about swords all I could say was cool. Even if it looked wretched.

Next up was the black crystal. The embodiment of evil.

Grabbing it the system made yet another appearance while tbe box vanished.

[One-time summon Assistant crystal detected]

[Would you like to summon an assistant]

[Y/N]

Unlike the weapons crystal, the system filled me in on the information of this one. Summoning the assistant would get me a helper for the total count of 24 in-game hours.

'Hmmh. Use or save?' I pondered.

I didn't know anything or even where to go. This meant the crystal must have been added for this very reason. While I could wander, who said tbe place wasn't too large for me to get lost.

A bit positive of my choice, I crushed the crystal.

The dust rolled off my palm and swarmed to the side where it began spinning like mad. I watched as the dust in ten seconds created a portal of sorts. It was like a mist of white steam with greenish tendrils getting sucked back into nothing. From within the core of the portal, something stepped out that had me screaming boss monster mentally.

It was tall, very tall. I thought I was huge and I stood at a good 7ft 6 inches thanks to the Argonne race choice. But this guy still towered over me.

He was black with bits of white and gray all over. His face was skeletal or looked like it. His body was buff and huge with a black sword sheathed to his hip and his eyes a pure glow of white locked on me.

For a minute we both stood, one terrified and the other just staring. Finally, he turned and began walking heading away. I knew it was a he. It just had this masculine presence about it even if it wasn't human. That and the apparent lack of a bust. So, yeah it was a he.

"Hey wait. "

Ignored. The dude just kept walking.

"You're meant to be my guide". He stopped. Turned and gave me a look before turning once more.

Frustrated I just followed. Fighting whoever this was, was a fast way to Perma death. I just knew one swing would end me.

'Is there an identity or appraise kind of skill?' pondering I scouted my brain for a moment wondering how to know more about the guy up front. My wings tucked in instinctively as I kept following copper sword in hand.

It activated then. I felt it leave my body like a stream, rushing out to him. It was invisible yet I could see it. Like a ghost or spectral unseen yet visible at the edges.

That's how best I could explain it. Intent.

I watched it wrap around the guy and slowly caressed him like a lover. I felt a massive drain within me and then in my skull. Then he stopped. I stopped. Slowly he turned and gazed at me. I froze. We both stood looking at each other again awkwardly before I found myself blurting.

" Uh, sorry?" he turned at that and kept walking.

I exhaled and reminded myself not to try appraising really scary folks here. Checking my mind I smiled at tbe prompt floating there.

'As long as I have enough intent I could just spam the skill to level it up. Plus it should regenerate by the time we get to our location.

And like that, I followed the black dude while spamming my intent.

'Was my attire that low leveled? Or was he just that much stronger?'.
