Blood dripped from a deep cut on Dave's chest but he has to continue fighting. If not for the stat boost of Demon Bident, he would have been dead way earlier in this battle. After she used a skill called [Shadow Empowerment], her armor and blade were covered by darkness.
Using the Bident in his hand he was only able to block her attacks because he wasn't skilled enough to use it to attack. For now, he was trying his best to not lose the Bident. If that happens then it's game over for him.
Using whatever power he could invoke in his defense and counterattacks he was just trying to survive. Fortunately, only her strength stats seemed to be higher than his. The real problem was her fighting style, she was very skilled in using that great sword.
" How dare you take that bident out of the graveyard?" She asked giving Dave a moment to finally breathe.
" It was outside of the GraveYard so I took it, anyone else would have done the same, no?" He answered
" You Liar! Oscar must have told you to take that out of the Graveyard! Seeing that how you are not cursed, the reason why Oscar sent you here was to steal my brother's weapon." She scream as she once again was ready to attack with a downward slash.
Dave stepped back and brought his spear in front of her attack but then suddenly she changed her footing and spun her body toward the right side to change the direction of her attack. Dave activated his [Invisible Shield], This was the last one he could manage to conjure because now he had no mana or mana potions to replenish himself.
He felt the brunt of the attack even if the sword didn't directly hit his body but the shield. He was being beaten right and left, and with this attack she sent him flying, and then he crashed through a wall into a building
" What do I do?" Dave spoke.
[ Let me take over] He heard a voice and his consciousness faded.
This time however he could see the vision of what was happening outside. He saw himself getting up and Shiloh coming through the wall into which he crashed. She charged once again toward Dave who was now possessed by that mysterious item.
However, in the middle of her charge metal spikes came out of the ground causing her to be surprised. The Mysterious item took the opportunity to swing the bident using all of the strength in Dave's body. This time Shiloh was sent flying very far away.
The mysterious item started to run away in the opposite direction. He broke the walls by thrusting the bident and then jumped on the roof.
" We are getting as far away as possible!" The mysterious item spoke.
" Hey, what about Iris?" Dave spoke.
" You heard Oscar, her father will protect her." He answered and kept on running while changing direction.
However, out of nowhere, Shiloh's minion came to block his way but Dave didn't stop and kept running. They readied thier attack and fired at him but he dodged everything using his speed only. Some tried to get in his way but he jumped over them.
Dave could not believe his eyes, how much better his body was being used by that mysterious item. Seeing this he was sure that they would get away from that monster who was determined to kill him today.
However, his expectations were shattered the moment, he once again saw that black armor appear out of nowhere and quickly delivered a punch. Dave's body was thrown back in the same manner as before.
" I didn't want to do this but–" The mysterious item spoke but dave interrupted him.
" Do what?"
" Use the power of the other item that I consumed." He answered.
" Don't do that, others will get caught up in that fire, I don't want the same thing happening in this town," Dave spoke.
That fire item was dangerous while they were fighting where other humans were also present. The mysterious item held back and didn't use the power of the fire.
" Then, you handle this. I don't think we have the option to run away from her." The mysterious item spoke and once again Dave was in control of the body but just as he came back, Shiloh stood in front of him and grabbed his neck to lift him from the ground.
Dave grabbed her hand as tightly as possible to free himself from her grip but nothing was working out.

Dave was caught off guard but quickly realized that it was for the better. His Strength, Defence, and Endurance suddenly rose to 40 without the bident, a strength that was unimaginable for even her to go against. He also held onto the bident which increased his three stats to 80 units while his speed was still 20 units.
The skin on his body transformed into metal but he was still able to move. Dave freed himself by grabbing onto one of her hands and using the spear to penetrate her armor.
She separated herself from him at the right moment and saw Dave swinging the Bident using all of his strength. She tried to stop the attack but she couldn't hold onto her sword because of the sheer force behind Dave's attack when it clashed with her sword, it was sent flying up into the sky.
After that Dave punched her and sent her flying. Dave was sad about losing the [nvisible Shield]. Thi new skill made his body look inhuman, He could feel the strength behind his attack was enough to put down Shiloh but she still got up.
She, even with broken armor stood up and looked at Dave. Her sword came back flying into her hands, and then she charged for another attack. But Dave stopped her from using his metallic hands, Once again Dave thought of punching her but changed his mind. Instead, he grabbed her and then pinned her onto the ground.
She could only struggle against him, unable to free herself she was pressed on the ground. Dave tore her helmet to finally see her face which was boiling with rage.
" I have never done anything wrong with you, so don't try to kill me. Your people I never killed them, I never even knew that Oscar killed your brother. Let's end this fight here!" Dave spoke.
" You stole my brother's weapon!" She shouted.
" You can take it back, I don't need it." He spoke. " I told you that I found it outside of the GraveYard."
" Anything else?" Dave asked.
